I am new to this group...so does Kriegoff's still remain a member? How does this work now? I think it was pretty unanimous that what he sent was junk but now what?

I haven't been in this PIF since my last bomb from Joe P but I'd like to make one remark and it's this: For the benefit of all, please do post what you receive in this PIF. If you're uncomfortable sharing CC's received, that's cool. But please take some time to let us know what you're getting from folks. Honestly, it's just good practice and it makes it a bit easier for people to feel comfortable about joining in. In addition, to avoid future Kriegoff crap, it's also a good idea to introduce yourself somewhere and let people know what you smoke and also what you don't smoke. That way, people won't be shocked if they receive dog rockets from a dog rocket aficionado!! Keep up the good work, guys! I'm glad to see a new crowd of Noobs keeping this thing alive!

Hey Sean..thanks for the info. I'll jump in here and let you know who I am. My name is Kenyatta. (I know its an odd name). I am a 30 year old man from the Philadelphia area. I have been smoking cigars since a trip to Miami's South beach area about six years ago. There was an old man rolling cigars in a shop window on the beach. I strolled in and asked the shop keep for a recommendation and a quick lesson on cigars. I have been hooked ever since. I had taken a break from my smokes for a while. I was in the process of purchasing my first home and keeping my four humidors stocked was not in the budget. Now I am back into it hot and heavy. I am excited about being back in the CA community. If I was left stranded on an island I would probably want a hand full of Graycliffs and maybe a couple Padron Anniversiarios. I also recently had the Padron 1926 Serie. It was absolutely wonderful!!! It was probably the best cigar that I had in a long time. I am also very found of the Fuente Château Fuente.

I'm a righteous mooch. (unless Sean was first that is) Hi all, My name is Jerod. I am a not yet 30 year old with a taste for old small batch bourbon and good single malts. I have been smoking cigars since I was in high school. My current favorite cigars brand has got to be just about anything from CAO. No cigar brand has impressed me this much since I switched from Swishers to Macanudo Hyde Parks my senior year ( No laughing I was ignorant until a kind old gentleman set me on course) I really fell in love with cigars at Stag Tobacconist in Phoenix, AZ while I was away at school. I met sosme really cool guys that taught me enough about cigars to be able to pick and enjoy one. I love the comeradery (sp?) of the cigar culture. In the past I have had boxes of: Mac. Hampton Port Mac. Hyde Park Mac. Duke of York Gold Label H. Upmann Regalias (Habana) Montecristo CAO Brazilia CAO Italia and tons of various samplers from the Thompson cigar club. All and all I haven't met many cigars that I HATED but I certainly have learned that it is better to spend a little more money for a trusted brand; but, just like with any wine, personal taste ultimatly trumps anybody elses opnion. A person likes what they like. And that should be respected, provided they are familiar with the options on the field. Sorry for my mini rant... I really look forward to getting to know everyone on the forumn. And I WILL pay it forward ( no bad press is going to come back on me ) I am alway willing to get together for a stogie if anyone in NM is willing. -Jerod
