End of the third:

Miami - 0
Pitts - 0

Total Yards

Miami - 109
Pitts - 142

As of right now, Jmoore is winning based on total yards of the home team (rule #4). Still got the 4th quarter to go, so it's still anyone's game...

Final score:

Miami - 0
Pitts -3

Yards of winning team: 216

Since nobody guessed the score, by rule #7, TSF is the winner by total yards of the winning team (his guess was 270...over by 54 yards, but still the closest).

Congrats TSF....send me your info!

I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the contest. I might try to put together something for the Super Bowl, but haven't figured out how to do it yet. Thanks again!!!

Now THATS what I'm talking about. Big Grin

I owe my win to Sarctonpsu as he guessed the same score and I had to go back and guess yardage after the rules were modified (I didn't know it was going to be a mud bowl - like the good ole days before fake turf)

Thanks EVP, looking forward to the package! EMS.

Some of those are cigars that I got from the Big Smoke, some I had. I'm sorry about the TeAmo...I thought I grabbed a different cigar and must not have noticed it in the package. Will send out the one that I was supposed to grab...unless you happen to like TeAmo.

EVP,
No need to send out a single. I'll take a crack at the TA just out of curiosity.

That was one of the ones from Big Smoke...they were giving away a 3 pack of TA's and you wouldn't believe it if I told you, but there was a crowd 5 deep for the table!

Also, is "toothy" a good thing? I've heard the term before, but still don't know what it means.

Tooth is neither good nor bad, but an indication of the texture of the wrapper. Cameroon wrappers are most often described as "toothy" or grainy as opposed to a silky wrapper. In this case, the maduro wrapper of the Padron has a lot of grain and the presence of bloom indicates the wrapper appears to be oily and well cared for. Should be a great smoke.
