It shows the winning number as 4 from the 9/1 drawing I looked at.

I never even heard from TSF in August. Didn't send Cigarguy his July either. Our group should not send him ANYTHING. Maybe put him on the chopping block, if we try and condense the 3 groups into 2, or find replacements.

Check with Gaetano on your group's standings, but if someone is two months behind and are M.I.A., CUT 'EM!
Take the next number in that same day's lotto and use it to determine a new winner for the month...or put only the names of people who havent won yet this year into a hat and draw one...
If the M.I.A. happens to chime in, explain to them they missed their opportunity.
The deal is, there have been plenty of opportunities...and unless someone is in a coma or in Iraq, there is no excuse for not meeting the obligation. At least send an email or make a quick post on this forum for God's sake! C'mon!
Take control of your group...save those who have been faithful in your group and continue on. There have been some really great smokes passed along in this lotto. If, out of the original 12 in your group there are only 6 left, randomly assign the remaining numbers to the remaining players. Everyone gets two chances to have a winning number come up.
The point is to do whatever it takes to salvage your group.
I have said this before...cigarettes are for smokers...cigars are for gentlemen (and my lovely cousin Sheri!) We should be upholding a higher standard here.
Let's get September cigars shipped and the winners rewarded!
Just making sure I'm not dreaming Gonz and that I'm a winner. There seemed to be a discrepancy with the winning number for the month, so please validate it. Also, if it holds up, I couldn't have won in a better month. I also have a B-Day in September on the 17th, so it couldn't have played out any better. After months of sending out, I really thought we'd go the whole year W/O me winning one. It's good to be on the receiving end for a change.

Thanks Michael, you set the standard for all of us to follow by month in and month out being the first person to send their package out. We should all be following your lead. Best regards, and I look forward to seeing what you send.

but if he has dropped off the face of the earth and owes, it is only right that his winnings are passed on to someone else.
there are many ways to do this... get the names of the survivors of the group, decide on another draw date... say the 5th or the 7th. if the date comes back as a non player, move on to the second digit.
i agree with gonzo. there is more to being a cigar smoker than sparking up an acid. we should not be having these issues.
tonito, package will be going out wednesday. thats the next time i will be available during the normal operational hours of any p.o.
any requests?
and like i stated earlier, when all the smoke settles for the year, anyone owed sticks will receive a package from me. im not going to send them now, and encourage people to drop out knowing that i will pick up their slack. or to end up having someone resurface after their debt has been payed. but i will not let someone leave this game with a bad taste in their mouth.
if we decide to do this again next year, there will be 2 representatives from each current group that will determine any potential applications for the remaining spots. and if we cant fill all three groups, we will run with 2 solid ones instead of 3 shaky ones.
til then, may your humis be bursting with htfs and your humi pacs never run dry

Wife just called to let me know a lotto package came today. She said it was from Bakersfield so I'm assuming its from Justin. I'm back home Tuesday so I'll post the smokes then. Justin thanks for the smokes, I can't wait to get home and see (smoke) them . And thanks to everyone else in advance.

I suggest we re-draw our group. Still have not heard from TSF or Bill NJ. Someone pick a new day. Or, if someone has not won yet, lets make them the winner.
I do not wish to win again, not twice in a row, so of its Me, TSF, or Bill, maybe do the next day? Or if someone has not won, speak up, and we can just send our sticks to them? Let me know what you are thinking guys.
