The cohiba sublime is a cigar that was released in 2004. It was a brand new size called the sublime, it measures 54 X 6.5. Technically it's a double robusto. It has a wrapper that has been aged 2 years prior to being rolled. It has a second band on it that says Edicion limitada 2004.here is a photo Pretty expensive stick. There was also a Sublime Extra released in 2008. It measures 54 x 7.2. So its just a little bit longer. Its really a massive cigar when you see it in person. The 2008's were limited to 1,000 humidors, 20 cigars in each and they retailed from anywhere between $1800-$2500. the humidors are pretty cool, they look like a book. here is a photo

I meant what makes a cigar a sublime. Is it the process the cigar goes through ?
LiLo summed it up for you in his post, but I'll try again. "Sublime" is the factory and commercial name Habanos SA gives to a cigar measuring 6.5 x 54. That's it. There are currently two habanos of this size: Cohiba Sublime and Monte Sublime.

And the RAP

Yep. I think there are more with the factory name sublimes, including the RAP, but only 2 right now with both factory and commercial name sublimes. Could be wrong.
