Let the CAO Palms sit in the humi without the coffin or cello to breathe for a while. My first one smoked a little off. It had a resiny odor, probably from the coffin. The second one smoked much better. I was hoping that these would be as good as the Milleniums, but they are a differnet blend. Good, but different.

I just got two CAO Odyssey today and my wife commented that the coffin smelled like ketchup. I wouldn't say it was ketchup but it definately had a funny smell.

Smokin'

Your package was far from puny! I am looking forward to letting them rest for a week or so, and then kicking back with them and my traditional root beer.

Alan

Smokum,

Pleasure was mine, enjoy them. The corojo #5 has about 8 months on it.

Holy crap! Good things come to those who wait!

Got my package from Rhino today. If you can call it a package. It's more like a suitcase was delivered full of cigars!!

-AVO Signature Robusto
-A little tiny adorable Fuente Opus X
-Gurkha Master Select Dos Capas (deosn't fit in my humidor width wise. Had to lay it length wise.)
-Padron mduro. 3000 maybe?
-RyJ Reserve Maduro
-Punch Gran Cru
-Rocky Patel Vintage 90 Churchill
-Torano 1916 Cameroon Robusto (a personal fav of mine)
-Bolivar Chruchill Is this the new blend?
-Sancho Panza Double Maduro
-2 of the Perdomo Cuban Parejos that are freakin huge. These things could choke a horse (but not PMP ironically)
-Perdomo Reserve (Cuban Cafe?)
-Perdomo Reserve Cameroon
-Nic Factory Corojo Robusto. (Always wanted to try one)

I think thats it. Oh, and a note written on an adorable little baby elephant stationary Big Grin

Thanks Rhino!

I'll second that. I've been looking at buying one or three of those off the CI website but have been curious how good it is.

Did a little search on the Palms. Not much out there, but here's a little tidbit...

I'll second that Andy! BinDer, tell the GF thanks! We couldn't have done it without her. On second thought... I guess it's probably in her contract though... being the Cigar God's GF and all. Wink

Squeak, squeak I say.

Sounds like a very successful RATS to me.

Let's do this again sometime.

Next one will be in November. I will make the launch time 9pm since so many people bitch about midnight. I'll prolly get complaints from the West Coast guys that it's too early!

Stay tuned for R.A.T.S VII, Gobblin' for 'Gars!
