Dear ______,

Your package is going out today. Sorry for the delay. In preparation for the R.A.T.S. I ordered a couple additional sticks to complete the package, and of course, they messed up the shipment! Mad Rest assured, most of your smokes (yes, White Owl Demi-Tips) are packed and ready to go. I asked those little white-tipped fellas' earlier if they just wanted to make the journey by themselves. They all wholeheartedly declined! They wanted to wait for their more expensive, Dutch Master counterparts. They informed me they liked traveling 1st Class. So in closing, to make up for the delay, your little guys will be shipped overnight and should arrive at your doorstep by Friday at 3PM. Although with the way my luck has been going lately, maybe you should plan on Saturday. Again, sorry for the delay, but when you open up that little package full of Owl's and Masters...I'm sure you'll agree it was well worth the wait.

Got my RATS package!!! When I catch my breath, I'll post and let you know what Eddie sent me.

Just kidding, but I did get all excited when I opened this package. I got:

CAO Extreme
Perdomo Reserve Torp
Padron Torp
LGC Serie R (#6?)
Bolivar Belicoso cc
Punch PC cc

Eddie, of all these cigars you sent, I've only had a Padron and a Bolivar, but neither in the torp. I've REALLY started to like the torps so thank you so much for sending so many! And I can't wait to try the Perdomo and the Punch. Thank you a million times over for a great RATS package! I'm honored that you drew my name. Smile

Squeak, squeak I say...

All I can say is WOW!

Today, my Rode...err RATS package arrived.

In it were the following sticks:

Fuente Opus X
Avo Maduro
Fuente Don Carlos
RP Sungrown
CAO MX2
H. Upmann Corona Major <CC '02 vintage>
Foseca Cusacos <CC '04 vintage>

And the only thing that out did the smokes were those pics that Smokin' included with them.

Smokin' all I have to say is "Nice Ash"

That? That was nothing! Just a few things I had laying around the house. FYI, the Consuegra is a gag cigar, nobody actually smokes those things do they? Wink Glad you liked SRage and thanks for participating.

Work has been hellish lately and I haven't even been able to get online to see how things have been progressing. Glad to see that things have arrived. My GF says thi swas one of the longest mileage R.A.T.S. she could remember. It seemed like everybody drew a name on opposite ends of the country. Hope that doesn't give things away. Wink

BTW, I'm assuming that because mine has been delayed because it is travelling by armored car due to the rarity and value of the package...

Sorry I haven't been on much today...it has been a loooooong 24 hours for me. Didn't get to bed til 2 this morning and laid there for 2 1/2 hours going through of all things, my boyhood homes and a memory from each room. It was almost as if I was having a preminition. My wife stayed home to take care of the little one and let me sleep. I woke up around 11, turned over to check email, and BAM...a reporter from back home emailed me to call him for an interview. So I ended up talking to him on the phone for almost an hour while having to go through 10 years worth of background for every little thing I said. So of course I've been in a weird mood all day and the only thing I can think of that caused it was all of the memories brought back into my consciousness. Anyways....

Yes, I got your package today. I was a bit bummed out because my wife saw the return address the same as a PIF that I sent out last week so she got the thrill of busting the box open. I gotta say, what a great job recycling the packaging Smile Anyways, once I opened up the plastic bag my wife insisted on smelling each one and remarking if they smelled mild, medium, or full. (I think I'm starting to get her into the enjoyment of it.) I've never smoked a perfecto before and can not wait to try it. As I do with all sticks that come into this household (since I am afterall in a hot climate), they are about 6 hours into a 72 hour freeze.
