I need to be sending a package of CC's from Canada to the US soon as part of my end of the PIF bargain. Any advice on how to do this without getting them confiscated? Is the best way to remove the bands and send them separately or is there other ways that will work?
I've had friends who shipped some dominican cigars without bands from canada if you know what I mean, I don't think they can tell the difference btw those and cigars of other origins if they don't have bands on them. (Note to admins: feel free to delete this post if it crosses any lines)

U.S. Customs can seize anything if they even suspect that the cigars might be Cuban -- bands on or bands off. It's then up to you to prove that they are not Cuban, I guess by producing receipts, etc. Removing the bands makes them more suspicious in my opinion.
probably already figured it out, use the CN22 form and label it differently, pack with heaps of foam, usually something like a book for a gift, or a gift workss and use a figure such as 19.99 USD for the total value, and the weight in grams should be .500 - .700
