Frederiko, I'm so sorry. My mother died suddenly a few years ago and I've always wondered what that would have been like if her death wasn't sudden, but had been diagnosed months in advance. I hope the time left with your Dad is precious and as peaceful as possible. Please pass my thanks on to your father for his service - he truly is a member of the greatest generation.

I am sorry to hear about your father. It sounds like he is at peace, which is a great thing. I hope your remaining time together is peaceful.
