Here's a cut / paste from a little contest I posted last year. Be the first to identify the error in the exchange below for a little Christmas cheer...or a major award which ever way to prefer to look at it.....

In the spirit of Christmas giving that is almost upon us, I would like to forward a little Christmas cheer in the form of a package of smokes.
Here's the hook. Be the first to answer the following questions about A Christmas Story correctly:

1. What TV network first aired the show with a 24 hour marathon?
2. Jean Shepherd's book In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash was the basis for the story. For what other publication was Shepherd a contributor?
3. The movie was filmed mostly in Cleveland, OH. The school yard scenes were filmed in what city?
4. Ralphie's dad was almost played by?
5. What model year was Ralphie's Orphan Annie decoder?
6. Ralphie's house was eventually sold on E-Bay - True or False

Bonus: How did the directors get Schwartz's tounge to stick to the flagpole. Good old fashioned frozen pole? or something else?

Answers
1. TNT
2. Playboy
3. St. Catharines Ontario, Canada
4. Jack nicholson
5. 1940 speed-o-matic
6. Yes, The house sold for $150,000
bonus. A hidden suction tube.

i'm a big christmas story fan,but i cant answer but one of the questions.tnt is the network,i know that cause its on every year.

and just a guess, the flagpole scene had to be some kind of invisible wire/string or a suction thing like a vacume

these are pretty tough TSF,this will drive me crazy till you post the answer's or theres a winner

Exthawk,

I apologize for the delay on sending out your smokes. Normally I do what I say. If I overnight them on Wed for Thu delivery will that be soon enough before you deploy?

Thanks for your patience.

Hello,
I understand all the problems with the post office. There is no need to overnight them if you send them this week I will recieve them before I go.

Also I recieved my first bomb from CECtech. I'm seeking clarification on what I recieved so as to not show my ignorance.

OK,
Now I barley survived my first bombing. If it had not been for my military training I surely would not have survived. Stay calm thats the key. Here is the ammunition he used on me.

Sancho Panza Caballero
Sancho Panza Double Maduro Cervantes
Buaza Casa Grande
Don Bienve Limited Reserve Robusto
La Gloria Cubana D'oro #1 Maduro

I will have to duck and cover to deplete his reserves. Thanks so much.

Just smoked a Cifuentes Partagas Septiembre' I received in a bomb from RX2010. Wow, was it good... Mild - but with character, nice construction, great even burn and ash that held on for dear life! Had a 1 inch nub and 2 inches of ash near the end. So good I finished it off in a slight drizzle on the back deck. A very enjoyable smoke.
Thanks RX2010.
