This is just a idea, to see how many people would like to do this. You would send a DVD, a snack and a cigar, the next person can keep the dvd or send a different one. You would not get the DVD sent back. I saw this on another forum and it looked like it was going pretty well.

I think I like this idea...

Just to clarify, are you talking about a box pass, where you'll have puts and takes and a defined circle of participants, or is it more like a PIF?

You've brought some interesting ideas to this forum - it's been refreshing!

So many cigars, so little time...

Are the DVD's new or used?

If it's a box pass, that can be one heavy box!

It is more like what crazypoet said. A box pass. The movie can be used, one that you enjoyed and thought some one else might enjoy. while watching the movie, you can enjoy a smoke, and possibly a microwave snack such as popcorn, porkrinds, or maybe a box of candy or snack bar.
You can pass the movie along, or replace it with another movie you think the next person might enjoy. The person sending the DVD may never get their original back, but when they want to participate again, will getanother movie in return to watch.
What do you think? I would be glad to start it and see how it wil go. The only way it will be like a PIF is when the next person is ready to pass the box on.

We can also go with the idea of the defined circle, all those who want to participate, we can just keep it going and let people join in on the circle, if they deem it to be fun.

I'm in!!! You might want to set a time limit on how long someone can hold onto a box before it has to be mailed out.

I have gotten a good response on this idea and many good ideas on some rules.
Instead of doing a play it foward type game, I would like to propose a circle of people. Any one can enter into the circle by emailing me their address. This will keep it going to prevent the fly by nighters to break the pass.
The person who receives the box, can keep it for up to five days. Email me, then I will email them to tell them who the next person is on the list. So everyone interested please email me their addresses. I do have a good amount of addresses from sending and receiving PIF's. But will keep a good address book, to kep this going.
The package wiill not be very heavy. were talking one DVD, one snack and one Cigar.
You can keep passing the DVD, snack or cigar. Take what you like. Replace it with a different cigar, snack or DVD. The DVD can be used, preferably something you enjoyed and think one of us might enjoy.
I will paste this reply at the top of the page, so everyone can see what is going on, and join in on the pass. I think it will be fun seeing what people well send.
email me your addresses through my profile if you want to join in.
