Create a bet. For example, Dallas over Philly. Dallas giving 5. Prize = 5 pack of cigars. If you picked philly, you would have won a 5 pack from the creator of the bet b\c Philly covered the spread. If you picked Dallas, you owe the other guy a 5 pack.
You can set your own spread or just take the lines from a newspaper. Also, please indicate how many people can participate in each bet. If two people win, someone will have to send 2 5 packs out.

I definitely like the idea, and would suggest the bet creator set some guidelines with regard to value of cigars to make sure things stay relatively even. Good idea to cap the participants too so that you don't get caught sending out 47 premium 5 packs when you inadvertently take the Dolphins to beat....uh...anyone

The way it would work is someone makes a new thread, with a bet proposition. He can choose any sport but let's choose football again as Ozz used for this example. So I would title the thread "This Sunday's Colts vs. Jags game", the spread is Colts -6 and I'm taking the Colts. The bet: a 5 pack of cigars valued at a minimum of say $40. Open to the first 3 opponents who want in. If you want in, you post it and you are taking the Jags +6. I am as the "bet maker" here taking on whoever wants to bet me up to the first 3 people. So if the Colts cover, then those 3 people each send me a 5 pack, if the Jags cover then I send each of the 3 a 5 pack. Make sense?

Checked out the lines. How bout Seattle giving 9.5 to the Rams. I like Seattle to cover. My wager - an 07 cuaba salomones, 07 hoyo double corona and third NC to be named (maybe Oliva V, or 1926 no 35, or Pepin I have to go look at my stash)
Open for 1 person to accept, wager can be any number CC or premium NC equal in value to what I have named. Any takers?
