From Jamacia? I've got some JR Alts I'd be willing to trade.

Because it came from a friend that got it in Jamica. As you noted, it's a fake.

So as usual this forum has little or no room for mistakes much less forgiveness. Not surprised.

What were you expecting? You don't know enough not to question the authenticity of cigars from a known counterfeit haven, briefly try to pass them off as genuine, retract the statement and then get irate when people suggest that you slow up a bit and take time to do some learning before you start trading counterfeit cigars.

Look at it this way: what if you were in "Swiss Watch Trading" at some website and posted...

9am
Hey, my friend just got back from Chinatown in NYC and picked up a bunch of Rolexes! Who wants to trade? Good stuff only 'cause these are Rolexes after all!

11pm
Oh wait, the Daytona is fake but I am sure the others are real because the box and tags look authentic!!!

11:15 pm
Ooops, scratch that, they're fakes, should have guessed because they're quartz, not automatic!

LOL, That's a very good analogy. Big Grin Hey murf, don't get your back up too much-- we all have taken our lumps (try the Cubans forum Eek ). It's part of learning.

P.S. Turn in your Rolex for a Breitling; a better instrument and fewer counterfeits. Wink

Exactly. Just put the brakes on a little next time. I'm not trying to start an argument, I just want you to see this through everyone else's eyes, that's all. Maybe someday we can smoke some Cohibas together from a glass-top box.

Oh Boo Hoo. You get four cigars from a friend that visited Jamacia. You then try to trade these cigars. Then, without modifying your original post, note that atleast two of them are fakes but are sure the other two are real because the bands look real. Forgive me, I can see why everyone here should have no concerns trading with you.

I don't think you've ever visited the Chinatown in NYC - they have plenty of everything.

Been there, I guess I was buying my Swiss watches from the wrong vendor. Big Grin

You may have raised the ire of some folk because you were so indignant about a trade you thought beneath you. No accounting for people's tastes, not all people like Cubans.

I thought a JR Alt for a fake cuban was a good trade. Wink
