Hey, I have a helluva lot of sticks that are desirable to most collectors and would be interested in picking up some of the Gurkha and PINAR pre-embargo cubans. I'll entertain any offer. I'd like to keep it at 3-5 sticks though, since I'm not sure how much I'll enjoy them. I'd trade:
Opus, Anejo, VSG, VSG ER, Cubans, Pad Ann., Pad 1926, Torano asstd., Mad Hemingways, ect. Let me know.

You aren't missing much. I'd stick with the premiums you have. Pinars are overrated and don't taste like any real Cuban I've ever had. Supposedly 50 year old pre-embargo tobacco that was kept in perfect condition all that time? I'm skeptical and if it wasn't gifted to me I would never have smoked it. Asa for Ghurka's, (I'll assume you mean the high end ones) feh! They are good, but not $20 good. I'd take any Opus, PAM or VSG over Ghurkas anyday.

If you want to smoke one just to say you smoked one there is a place in Horsham, PA called Rebel Valley Cigars that carries the Pinars. If you called them, they would gladly ship you some UPS.

Much appreciated. As with all the opinions I ask for and receive on these forums, yours will most certainly be taken under consideration if/when I get the opportunity to have some of these. I have been in contact with a number of representatives since this post was entered and am to say the least, curious to at least try one.
If I have the pleasure to try each of Pinar's 3 lines of "100% pure" pre-embargo grown tobacco, I will most definately post my own HO for all who are interested to read and potentially learn from.
