Anyone have this happen? When I was shipping my package, I was asked it was fragile, if it would spoil, etc. I said it's cigars, don't bang em around. The clerk immediately went over to a chart that was headlined, "keep the mail safe". She then called a supervisor? over and he then asked me if the package was going to the troops or a tobacco producing country. I answered in the negative, but asked, "what, we can't send cigars to the troops?" He said no tobacco products to the troops. Is this something new?

When I got those cigars from Cigar Magazine, I thought it was the "Ring Around". I said to myself, "Self, that was fast!" Hope who gets my package really enjoys those Dutchmasters and Backwoods! Big Grin

Dang I'm jealous! I was hoping the package I sent would be the first recieved!

I am more excited about someone getting my package than I am about getting mine! I didn't send any Backwoods or Dutchmasters...just Iguanas! Wink

Got my package from TPSO today! I'm literally drooling as I write this. He went well above and beyond the requirements of RATSII.

I can honestly say about the HdM EL '03 "BinDerHaven'tSmokDat!" Can't wait!

A first class package, thanks very, very much Brett!

Glad to help ya. I inspected the other smokes and they all seem to be fine.

Weirdest thing tho, i just looked at the Bolivar and there is just one small perfectly round hole mid way up the cigar...I just bet all the other cigars from that box are ruined !

I don't suppose even with a beatle hole or somthin these are still worth of smoking? I'd sure hate to waste a fine cuban. Smile

they're not ruined bub, just put them in the freezer for a day or so.after you take them out, put them in the fridge for a day, then back into the humidor. they should be fine. and yes, you can smoke the one with the hole in it.that one should be ok too.

I put them in the freezer already, but I examined them for an hour and saw nothing, better safe than sorry. Thanks for the post brent. I'm having some friends over so I took 4 h. upmanns' #2 out of the freezer since theyre safe to smoke. We are having an in-between rain bbq. Its not raining till midnight tonight according to weatherchannel.com.

I do have a question for anyone about this...
My humidor has foam in it, should I freeze this or just wipe it with a wet cloth?

Thanks!

V

I have a Davidoff humidor and it has foam around the humidifier system to keep it straight in place, mostly so it looks nice since magnets hold it in.
