i have an utter disdain of people trying to profit grossly on fuente rares. i have plenty and if someone offers a fair trade that i'm intrested in i only do so at MSRP. when i see people like this it makes me sick, not just because of the price but because they are trying to rob joe schmoe of the experience that arturo fuente jr and don carlos and all the other fuentes have fought so hard for. how do i know? because i stop by and talk to arturo jr at least once a week and this is always a big topic at his store.

Jackel apologized, fixed his post, and said he wouldn't do it again. The prices are high, but no one is making you pay it. They are hard to find and if you need them, you will pay the price. My local B&M and cigar.com both have the same philosophy. They like to have the cigars, so if someone needs them, then they will have them, even if the price is high. Though it may not be something most of us would like to be involved in, to each his own.

I just like cigars, is that ok?

LoL... I actually wasnt sure if we were allowed to actually "sell" them on here...In the past few weeks, i could have sworn i seen several posts with cigars for sale, so i kinda just "went with it" hehe..

But i will agree that those prices are horrendous.. Mine can be had for half the price, and i have vouches out the Behind!! Smile

Anyways.... In good faith, Good luck with your Sale Sir.

Find another B&M shop. there are thousands upon thousands that do not charge a huge markup that you are seeing on cigar.com and many others. i even linked to one earlier that only marks up a dollar or two but you don't pay taxes on it to make up for it.

they are not hard to find. i can spend 2 hours shopping stores and find them for MSRP or just above msrp so yes i'm going to rant about the people who are gouging and trying to ruin what the fuente's have set up. as i said i talk to arturo himself about this at least once a week. any authorized retailer cannot price gouge. they will have their retailer status yanked immeadiately.

technically selling is trading

trading a product for money

(just being a smart alec)

yeah dont sell cigars here now if you wanted to trade some for some other premiums like padron 1926,1964 or even davidoffs itd be cool and also itd be great if you didnt price gouge

I can vouch for BigRons in terms "going with the flow" and not meaning any harm. He and I have done a few trades and private sales, none discussed on the forums, only privately. I will not discuss what sticks I bought or for how much, but I will say the quality of sticks was well worth what I paid.

in all fairness bigrons you should know better but these forums are for cigar LOVERS not profiteers i believe my record stands for itself when i say i will give up cc's for something i like and always take my fellow BOTL's tastes into account. that being said i think this forum is about experiencing new sticks not about profit or monetary gain

Don't sweat it Pitts....no biggie. But just to teach you a lesson, you must split your cigar stash between Ron's and Myself and start over from scratch! Smile

Oh crap. Luckily, I just smoked my last vsg tonight, and I ran out of opus last week. You wouldn't steal a poor college student's cigars would you? That's like hitting a guy with glasses...
