I'm proposing a multi-country holiday cigar swap. I don't care where you are from. Canada, US, UK, France, Iraq, South Africa, it doesn't matter. Who wants to enjoy the holiday season with cigars from 3000kms away? Let me know what you think.

That sounds interesting! I would love to be a part of it.
How will it be sorted out if there are more from the US than other countries?

We'll gather the names then spread it around just like the Secret Santa, only this one is open to everyone. I suspect that burnham will want in on this as he missed the Santa. Smile

I'd be keen. Tho I don't have any PIFs etc to my name. Don't know how easy it is (or how long it takes) sending stuff across the pond, as I live in ireland/england. If neither of those are a problem though sign me up, as id really like to try some new stuff.

Good idea Jweb.
I'd like to sign up, but before doing that I'd appreciate having more details on the rules please, such as: is it "mooch PIF type", or like the Santa pass, or something else, shipping dates, minimum qtys, etc.

I was thinking we could do another RATS. That seemed to work well. I'll collect the names and have my wife randomly choose who sends to who. If we can get enough interest we should ship no later then next week as international shipping can take a week or two, that would be in time for the holidays.

Just my 2 cents, but I like the secret santa idea of having everyone send someone a box of their favorite cigars. It is that time of year.

I am up for whatever is decided. But like V.O. I would like some guidlines whether it ends up being singles or a box. There can be a severe disparity between peoples favorite cigars.

Yep - sending a box can become very expensive...

How about setting a Dollar (or Euro?) limit? Say up to a maximum of $100.00 or $150.00 worth of cigars? That might cover a box for some, or a handful of super-premiums for someone else?

I agree we should have some guidelines but the secret santa thing was a pretty good format I think or a dollar amount would be ok as well

What was the secret santa format? By the time I looked the "rule" post was edited with the participants names. Or I just missed it. If so my b.
