This is an awesome thread. Once I get enough stock in my humi I can't wait to get in.
As I have never participated in anything like this I do have one particular question. How are people packing and shipping cigars for this? I read most people are using USPS 2 day but what are you doing to package up the sticks. I just want to be informed so when I get involved I can make sure to ship them properly. Please reply here or shoot me an email at bburnham17@yahoo.com.
Suggested: USPS or UPS with tracking number Humi-pillow or something similar for moisture while in transit

Dan, I just got the package. I thank you for the awesome choices. I was really excited to see the Opus X. I have always been curious about trying one and now I have a chance thanks to you. I have one question about your note. The Opus X says 3 years old, also the Padron 5000 and La Aroma de Cuba say 6 months. Is this how long youve aged them in your humi? If so I kinda feel bad about smoking that Opus X.
Here is the list:
2 - Aiello (made by Oliva) Padron 5000 Rocky Patel - The Edge La Aroma de Cuba Opus X
Thank you DanV!

Yes the Opus X has been in the locker for 3 years. The others are 6 months. The Aiello is a blend picked by the owner of the Tinder box here. He picks the blend and Oliva makes it. Retails for about 4 dollars. To me a great smoke for 4 bucks. the lighter one is a Cameroon. Dont feel bad thats what there for. Have had plenty of Opus. My taste run more towards the Padrons myself.

I love the Padron 26. Thats the best cigar Ive had. The 64 is nice but the tight draw kills me. I havent tried the 5000 so that would be interesting, especially one thats been cured for 6 months. Ill post what I thought about each one I smoke. The Opus X might sit on the side lines for a special occasion.

Dan, Do the Padron non-anniversary's age well? I tried my second Padron from the cigar shop yesterday and I didn't really enjoy it. There was a lack of taste. It was ok in the middle of the cigar but the rest wasn't too enjoyable. I need to try the one you sent to see if I notice a difference. Ive had a couple 26's and 64's which are amazing. Do the regular Padron's age similar to either of those?

almost every Padron ive had have been great. My regular Padrons age perfectly. My 3000's are right up there with the 64's i have. Im partial to Padrons because Joe the owner is also and he got me hooked. On another note since he is such a big Padron guy, the Aiello blend he picked is along that same vain. Be sure to let me know what you think of them. He will get a kick out of some outside thoughts.
