I am pretty new here as well, but I am have never been afraid to ask questions in any setting. Some may find it as an annoyance, but I find it as furthering my knowledge on a particular subject. I guess that is why I jumped right in here. Never any stupid questions, just those stupid ones who get upset by others asking questions.. Just my opinion. Anyway, your sticks are going out on Tues. Hope you enjoy them. Rik

You are very provident with your cigars, and lucky for me, you have excellent tastes.
I received:
- A. Fuente Grand Reserva - Churchill - La Aroma de Cuba - Churchill - CAO Cameroon - wonderful little box-pressed torpedo. - Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 - torpedo (and one of my all time favorites. Thank you for this, I had run out.)
And, of course, the creme-de-la-creme:
- Padron 1926 Anniversario / 40th Anniversary. I have only had one 1926 and it was spectacular. I will save this one for a very special occasion. These are among the hardest cigars to find. Your generosity is appreciated, sir.
Foster, you've raised the bar. I'm going to have a hard following this one up...

Logical, Thank you for the kind words. The laAdeC was the cigar of the week last week. I figured that might be interesting as I cannot always find the featured cigar at my local shop. Let me know, as that is the only one in the batch that I have not tried. All of the others, I have enjoyed and also enjoy passing along to others to try. The Padron, well.. your lucky day I guess. Enjoy!

Got home early, and what do I find, but a box of cigars from Tigerfan. Thank you very much, and I must say that you did send some good ones at that. As follows: Partagas-Habana Series D. No.4 Pueblo dominicano Torpedo 5 Vegas "A" And last but not least "A. Fuente Gran Reserva" (can never go wrong with a Fuente...) Thank you very much, and I think I really like this game. Oh, and TSFoster. Yours did go out a little late (I emailed you on that)but were sent out. I hope you enjoy them when they arrive. I was un-sure as to what to send, but hope that you find these suitable. Now, which one of these to smoke first.....?

Got my package from RikA Here's the loot... Cusano Corojo 1997 CAO Gold - Robusto CAO Criollo - Robusto (with a nice Cuban twist at the head) Drew Estates Natural Dirt - Torpedo
Thanks, Nice assortment and I am looking forward to sampling these. I'm going to put them in the humi to freshen them up from the trip from TX and maybe get to one of them this week. I'll let you know my favorite. Cheers, and looking forward to some reports on some of the smokes traded so far.

I hope you enjoy them. I apoligize again for them taking so long to get there. Also, the Drew Estates cigar might need to be kept seperate from the others. It is not supposed to be infused with any spices or anything like a flavored cigar, but it does contain tobacco that may affect the taste of the others in your humi. I have not had that happen, but I have heard of it happening to others. I was a little unsure as to what to send, so I thought the wide array of cigars would be best. The Criollo is one of my favorites. Enjoy. Rik

Originally posted by TSFoster: RikA, That sounds like a great excuse to get the Natural out this weekend!!
Took me until today (on vacation, St. George Island, Fl.) Decided to try the Drew Estates Natural Dirt this a.m. just after coffee and bagels. Not a bad smoke. The dark wrapper color is deceptive as I expected a stronger smoke. The taste was unmistakably sweet and left an almost sugary residue on the lips. Reminded me of a "dressed up" swisher. Smoked fast but well, with a consistent burn and easy draw. Left a bit of an aftertaste that I have not experienced in a while however. Looking forward to the others. Thanks for the sample Rik.
