Gaetano, rest assured you'll have your chance soon.

I know I can't say much because it was a PIF after all, but I kinda feel let down that he didn't post them. Almost feels like a waste of good sticks.

But, In the spirit of Pay it Forward, I gave him the sticks in good conscience not expecting anything in return, and I should be happy with that.

I arrived home this afternoon and found my mailbox in absolute shambles...it turns out that Johnnie420 decided to drop an absolute bomb on me!

Below is a list of his weaponry (please correct me):

NC
AF Hemingway
Oliva Serie V robusto
Black Pearl torpedo
Gurkha (not sure)
5 Vegas Gold Torpedo
Peterson (not sure)
Padron (not sure)
AF Anejo #49

CC
Partagas

Thank you so much for such a generous package!

TC, the CC not sure looks like a Partagas Culebra, they are a bit odd looking, but smoke well. You might feel a little odd lighting one up on poker night with the guys, but still a good smoke.

Definitely looks like 1/3 of a Culebra. Nice PIF Johnnie.

Great job Johnnie! I would have answered your mooch but I have been on the receiving end of too many of your smokes! (That's not to say I don't want anymore though Wink)

Glad you like the smokes bud, enjoy em.
Yes sir it is a Culebra. Like YH said it looks corny but smokes great. I've bought two boxes and only have one stick left.

You'll be getting some more soon. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Edmundos and talked myself into '02 Diplo #4 also.

I am just wondering what tends to be the best service to send them with? Fedex, DHL, UPS, or USPS? I am going to be doing my first PIF, so I am looking for some advice from the experienced PIFR's. I have a lot of prepaid DHL overnight envelopes that I bought from costco. I am assuming as long as I pack them in tubes or some good wrapping they will be alright. Not worth sacrficing a few saved bucks for trashed smokes. Thanks for any responses. Matt

I recently lost two packages in the mail after about a year of trading with the USPS.
One box coming my way was lost with 5 Short Stories and some Pepin stuff. My outgoing box with 7 illusione cg4's was lost...
Usually that is the preferred route though.

yea, shipping USPS priority is usually the best way...usually makes it to the recipient in 2 days and it costs about $5

I'll be sending my first pif to the US from Canada and there will be a Cuban or two in there. Wink Is regular mail or priority post the best way to get them there safely? What should I do about keeping them humidified? Sorry about the questions, but I just want them to get there safe.
