Cigarsarenotacrime,

Thanks for the heads up. I guess when I read the rules I interpreted them to mean that anyone could start a PIF by using the phrase (rule 1 I think). As a Noob I didn't/don't feel comfortable being someone elses mooch (thus the receiving end) since I haven't participated in any other wishlist/PIF/trade. I'll head on over to the wish list/trade board until I feel comfortable enough (and credible enough) to be the mooch of someone elses PIF.

Hey man, I am just glad that you didnt take my advice as me being a dick. That was what I was most worried about. Hey man, this thread of Pay It Forward is for newbies. That is why it is here, so that you can establish your name and establish yourself as a BOTL(Brother of the leaf). I think that you should get in this mix immediately. I waited a little while whenever I first joined just because I wanted to give out some quality smokes. I believe I sent Doodface a "noob bomb" I put all my topshelf stuff in there, but I was just trying to impress. Anyway I would get in on this thread bud, it doesnt matter how long you been here. You got a heads up on a lot of people, because you didnt come in here firing away on the CC tab and ask for sources.

No worries, thanks for the advice and will do. Just not this week. I'm heading out of town and would be hard pressed to meet the 48 hrs rule if a package was received.

** don elias is a great one for the short car rides. perfect size! nice and light

** the exile is a really great smoke. i was pleasantly surprised when i tried it. let me know what you think about that one too.

** the flor de oliva... haha... glad you liked it bro! heres the background on that: i thought u were this struggling grad student with a meager humi because all your funds were tied up in tuition and book costs, so i figured id send you one cigar that you could smoke for like... i dont know... 3 days straight and save yourself from having to buy more sticks.

Fired up the don elias and the exile to celebrate the last day of classes. Good stuff.

Have you smoked one of the Edges yet? Is it going to kick my tail like it claims?

The maduro is pretty strong on the Rocky Patel Edge. If I were you, I would just eat a fairly good sized meal and sit down and smoke it. Wait a little bit after you eat and it will help the food digest, and it will be a much better smoke IMO.

Received Mr Goodfella's PIF today. A very nice non-dominican selection.

Cabaiguan Corona (right off my wishlist)
Excalibur Epicure Maduro & Natural
HDM Tradicion Epi
Vengeance Maduro? Gonna need some help with this one.

Thanks man, these will smoke well!

The Vengeance is a not so well known smoke made by Rocky Patel. I smoked one at a cigar event and enjoyed it, so I bought a few more. I wanted to get you a Cabiguan Guapo, but they were all out.
I smoked the HDM tradicion the day after I sent you one. Input: let it sit for a few months, these are definately not ready to smoke.
