Really awesome. I think this qualifies as the most inventive PIF I've seen. Really appreciated!
Wow. Use it as a pool cue!

just received jared's PIF and i am very excited! havent gotten cigars in the mail before and its just a cool feeling opening a box and having that smell hit you like that!

in my box was:

Perdomo Lot 23
CAO Brazilia
CAO Gold Maduro

and a complimentary CAO dvd about cigar making!

Thank you jared!!!

Hah... I did a crappy job packaging those things. I've actually never sent a package in the mail in all of my 24 years and didn't even own packing tape. I bought the tape and taped it up in the post office parking lot (hence the crazy amounts of tape and why the tape was not at all smooth).

Anyway... glad it got to you, and hope you enjoy it!

Security and an Anticipation Builder. He did it on purpose, so that you would nearly rip the box to shreds to get the stogies out. I love doing that. Big Grin

I'd just like to send a thanks out to the guys who responded to my post on the Cigar Aficionado humidor in the editor section, and to show my appreciation to those guys I'd like to send out a PIF to whichever one of those guys (or gals) partook. Specifially it is,
Cyrann
Dr. Chino
aphexafx
dan954
jeffy cigar
lucky break
Whichever one of those guys is the biggest mooch will get a token package of my appreciation. If none do by Sunday I'll open it up. (sorry to be selective but this is the best way I've thought of to show my appreciation to those who helped me with my limited collection).

Hey erick, this is a really awesome gesture of you sir, but the rules say that you must be someone elses mooch, before you can ask for a mooch yourself. If you wait for Ozz to ask and be his mooch then you can ask for a mooch yourself. Sorry to be debbie downer. My intentions are not to be a dick, but to help you with the rules. Plus you might have to beat me to Ozz's mooch.Haha Smile

Erik, that is nice of you. You should create a new thread...that doesn't really belong in here anyway =)

So, at this depressing rainy hour, who else is up with me and wants to mooch?

jared,

glad everything arrived in one piece

** the barber pole is basically the same as the one i sent hawksfan except his was a connecticut and maduro twister. i went back to my local guy and i saw the maduro and red tobacco leaf twister and had to try it. i liked it so i figured id send one along. let me know what you think. for those playing the home game- its a flor de camaguey maduro twister

** don elias is a great one for the short car rides. perfect size! nice and light

** rp edge speaks for itself

** the exile is a really great smoke. i was pleasantly surprised when i tried it. let me know what you think about that one too.

** the don pepin 601 is a box pressed maduro. if you love full flavor and coffee, this is a winner.

** the 5 vegas is an "artisan" i believe. or an "anomaly". i forget which i sent.

** the flor de oliva... haha... glad you liked it bro! heres the background on that: i thought u were this struggling grad student with a meager humi because all your funds were tied up in tuition and book costs, so i figured id send you one cigar that you could smoke for like... i dont know... 3 days straight and save yourself from having to buy more sticks. Big Grin

good luck with it and like i said in my note

whoever said size doesnt matter... LIED!!!!
