Is it just me or does it seem like the contents of the PIF packages have gotten slimmer and slimmer... It just seems like the generosity we saw alot during X-mas has kind of vanished in this thread... Maybe it's just that not as many people are posting what they get... I am just wondering, not criticizing... I just enjoyed seeing all the bombs people were getting... any thoughts?

I think its maybe a newb thing. Not saying that at all in a bad way guys. When I sent my first PIF I was just getting started and I sent 3 sticks.
Then after a while I felt a little bad. So next PIF I think I sent 5 and a little more after that, and so on. The generosity will return, everyone here is so generous.

I am sorry if your PIF wasn't up to the standards of this forum. I guess I am sort of a newbie but I gave some of the best sticks from my meager stash. I thought the idea was to get to know others and build some rapport and trust. I'll be sure to make the next one better as I expand my collection.

bullriver... I was not criticizing your package... The smokes were great, I love all three of them... I was not calling you out in the least. I was just speaking about all recent packages in general. just an observation of sorts... Keep up the good work, and I hope you are able to learn lots and accumulate some great sticks. Cheers! and No worries!!! here's to making more transactions with you!

Why not start a "Premium PIF" with a 5 stick minimum?

Im game for the premium PIF idea, possibly with some additional rules...

No worries. I do agree with Crazypoet, I have three orders on the way and my thought is to be able to bomb somebody good on this thread. The combo of newbie and vets keeps it fun. I think the addition of a "premium" thread is ok, it just won't have nearly the participation of this one. Personally, I cannot wait to get in on this PIF again. The fun for me is the sending, ask my wife. She thought I was crazy all the angst I went though trying to decide what to send! New humi on the way, more smokes on the way...hope to repay the kindness shown on this thread by everyone.

I agree with all of you as well... I was just noting a thought that's all! Bullriver, again I really enjoy everyone of the sticks you sent and am very grateful. I appreciate the fact I got what you like and had in the humidor. I still have your box but just to be sure email me your addy so I have it right! I want to send you back a little welcome to the forum gift/taste of a couple of my favorites!

HDJ, Again, no worries at all. Newbie's like me need a little motivation to stick around! I will send my address to you, but you definitely don't have to send me a package! That is too generous and not necessary. I am just glad to belong to a forum that will listen to my constant cigar rants. My wife is getting tired of it! Have a great night!
