And for the record warrior the guy who is sending you package is a Police officer who went into a burning building and suffered from smoke inhalation, he told you that in an e mail ... I know this because I was out with him this past weekend he already sent your PIF out (A VERY GOOD 1 TOO) I'll make sure he posts what he sent you now that your gone

Wow maybe Warrior will be mad and not want them and forward it to me. Smile

Yes I have met several people on here that are nice and he is going to miss out on getting some smokes that he might not have gotten without help from the members of these forums.
If I offended him then I am sorry, but I think he over reacted.

received my PIF from newbie John Carb. It was a nice one, gran puro punch, hoyo de monterey, guhrka ancient, rocky patel 1992 and one other ( sorry I am getting old ) in a nice hard case protected traveling case.
As for the warior, I am not going to waste my time, especially if he's not going to come back and read it.

Warrior I think I said all I needed was an explanation and I would send you some smokes, but I wanted to get the PIF moving ahead so I pushed through it and awarded it to carbaugh. I was open to a mature response, explanation or open comunication with those who you owed cigars and all would have been good on my end.

Funny, warrior, you never even e-mailed me to get my address, so where did you send the cigar to?

Anyway, I am sorry for hijacking the thread. I look forward to being a mooch sometime in the future.

I guess this whole problem with warrior is my fault. I was supposed to send him his PIF, but like Bill-NJ said, I was got smoke inhalation from a fire that I was involved in, got sick with some sort of stomach virus and had a 101 degree fever on top of that. I emailed him and advised him of this and told him that I would send him his PIF shortly.
When I did go back to work, I ended up pulling roughly 30 hours of OT on top of my regular hours and that was just work. Add in life in general and I was pretty banged up. I emailed him and advised him of my situation and he appeared to be understanding. He emailed me once concerning his PIF and I heard nothing after that. That was about a week after he posted his mooch.
Last Saturday was the first time that I was able to get out and met up with Bill-NJ for dinner and a smoke at Ashes, in Red Bank. BTW, the experience we had at Ashes rates among my 5 top dining experiences ever.

Anyway, as far as warrior is concerned, in light of his recent rants, attitude and lack of maturity, I am asking for advice from you all. Should I still send him his PIF or, I was thinking, use his PIF to settle up his debts that he has accumulated here. I felt REALLY bad that it was taking me so long due to the my condition, so I sweetened it for him. His PIF was going to consist of the following:

TTT Trinidad Belicoso
Torano Casa Torano Toro
Vintage by Rocky Patel 1990 Churchill
Carlos Torano 1926 Exodus
Carlos Torano Virtuoso
Gurkha Grand Envoy Presidente
Gurkha Nepalese Warrior
Rocky Patel R4 Robusto Maduro
Perdomo Lot 23 Churchill
CAO Black Ltd. Edition Frontier
5 Vegas Torpedo
Romeo and Julieta Curch Box Pressed ?
Arturo Fuente Hemingway
AND and Ashton VSG Enchantment

On top of that, I was going to send him a 750ml bottle of Maker's Mark.

So, I'm guessing he REALLY REALLY lost out.

What say you all...send it or pay off his debts and send the remainder to the next mooch?

I say, after that ordeal you went through you should enjoy those cigars and whiskey yourself. No one would blame you for that.

Enjoy.

My vote is for you to hang on to your good smokes, enjoy them with your good bourbon, and send him a few dog rockets just to fulfill your PIF duties..

Nghtstalker, most importantly, I hope you are okay. I got right in the middle of this when I decided not to honor his response in light of the information I had received. I gave him a chance to eplain himself in a civil manner and I would have sent him some cigars to honor my end of the deal. He chose not to explain himself away but point the finger at someone else.

IMHO, The delay in you sending your PIF to him had absolutely nothing to do with the delay to honor his part of the Super Bowl contest. I know I was late in getting mine out, but all Warrior had to do was communicate with Crowder and it would have been fine.

I would refrain from sending him your package unless we get an apology. If you send them, he may never show up again. If he wants to be around, let's see if he apologizes and then he may get a consolation prize.

Very nice package though. That reminds me, I need more Maker's!

I would not send him his PIF. I mean he didnt send the PIF he was suppoesed to send out so therefore he isnt "owed" anything. Its also not your responsibilty to cover his "debts". However, if that is something that you would like to do, then I do not believe anyone will speak against you. However I dont think you should feel pressure to. I mean I wouldnt. Do we even know who is PIF is? However that would hve been one heck of a PIF. I would have definitely been one happy dude if that was on my doorstep.HAHA

Well good luck with your health Nightstalker. Plus this thread wasnt slowed down because of you. He was suppoesed to send one out and didnt. I helped slow it down as well. So please dont think that this was in anyway your fault.

Speaking of that JLaker I have never had Makers Mark. Is it any good?

Yes, it is very nice and I have drank it exclusively for the last 7 years. I have enjoyed it since I was in college. You can actually become a Maker's Mark Ambassador for free. Go to their website and sign up. You'll get your name on a barrel of bourbon at their distillery in Loretto , KY and they will send you updates as to where in the distilling process your bourbon would be. That is prett cool. My barrell just got ready so I can get two bottles from my own barrell! They also invite the amabassadors to special events and send out nice gifts around the holidays. I highly suggest you try it out. I have not found a bourbon I like better, for any occasion.
