I know a few people have been looking forward to a fantasy cigar baseball league. Well, I think we should start talking about this, so lets get to work. I'm thinking 10-12 man leagues. Set the draft just before the season starts, maybe 3-4 days before opening day. What do you think should be the terms of this league? How many smokes? Any thougts?

If you set it up through Yahoo!, i might be interested...we need to get what stats and positions are allowed down though.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries. -David Savona

Alright, I went and got the league set up at yahoo. The league name is CA Fantasy Baseball The password is 2005
Take a look at it and see if we need to change anything. I did a head to head league based on stats. I wasn't sure if anyone wanted to do a points head to head, but if the majority wants it, then I can set it up.
What should we do for prizes?

We really need to get people signed up. I can move the draft back a week if we don't have enough players. If you haven't signed up yet please do.

OK, I went ahead and did some research. Is it just me or is there a lot of work and continiuos research with this? Approximatly how many hours a week does this take? I want to be sure I can devote the time needed to play the game right...
DD, A few min. a day max is all the time you really need. You can also set your lineup days in adavance, because the software allows this option. dd, go ahead a sign up, you will catch on fast because it's really not tough at all.
Also, Lebowski I could pick a new draft time if it is ok with the rest of the league.
We really need a few more guys to enter. Ask a few of your buddys, I have one friend who will enter but he is not a member but does enjoy cigars. Lets try and get about 10 people. I will set the draft back a week if needed.
