I have so many. Originally I was thinking to collect enough of them, so I can hire somebody to build me a nice big humidor covered with all this labels in a nice kind of design way. But now I am not so sure. Will see...
I just thought itd be cool to put them in a book one day.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries. -David Savona

I was wondering how many people actually did this. A couple months ago I decided to start keeping the bands of different types of cigars that I smoked. I guess a reminder or "road map" of what cigars I have smoked and where I have been. To my surprise I am starting to accumulate pretty quickly. I am still debating on how I want to display them...in a book or in a frame, not sure yet. Any ideas?

I have about 200 cigar bands that I've collected (all that I have smoked) but I never get around to doing anything with them. I have them all stored between the pages of a big book so they can get pressed. I'd like to display them in shadow boxes but I'm too lazy to do it. I will have to put all of my C.A.O. bands in one seperate shadow box, and my Opus X bands in another separate shadow box. All the others can all go together.
When I have them all out it's kind of looking at a family reunion. I tell myself, "I loved that one," or "That one was really difficult to light," and so on. But I have a unique relationship with each cigar and cigar band good and bad. I must say that the most attractive bands have to be: Opus X, La Aroma de Cuba, Gurkha, Padilla Miami, C.A.O. Soprano, C.A.O. CX2, Gran Habano, and Diablo.
Baseball is like church. Many attend, but few understand.
I am starting to save mine. I plan on taking a terracotta tray, the ones that you put under a planter pot to catch any water, and make a cigar band ashtray. I will wait until I get enough, then lay them out and seal them to the tray. Shazaam, homemade band ashtray of all the cigars I have smoked to that point.
100 ct Humidor looking for multiple tenants. Must enjoy the smell of cedar, 67% humidity and a steady temperature of 20 degrees Celcius. Please apply within, preference will be given to those who are of higher class.
I keep every single band from every cigar that I smoke in a big glasss jar. There is at least 300+ bands in the thing. It looks like I have a slight cigar problem.
Hrm, I have never displayed mine, I just keep mine in a empty cigar box, but now i have no idea how to lay them out, make my own picture? Or in Order! this shall be tough!

i like to tape them onto lighters, espeacialy bic lighters, get some clear tape and match the colors and it looks real good. i have a bunch of bic lgihters with dutch master bands on them...dont smoek the dutch masters....well kinda lol nuff said. but yea it looks good
Every Dolphins Football game I watch (and I watch them all) I put the score and date on the back of the band. If it was smoked with someone or at a B-Day, Drag Race etc, I will put that info and date on the back of the band. I sometimes rate the ceegar on a 10 scale as well. Keep them all in a Cohiba Box and Acid Tin.

I put all first time bands in a book and review them for future reference. All the rest I reglue and store them in gallon mayo jars for display around my smoking room on shelves between my cigar art.
