Theres a store here on Long Island, NY that hand-rolls their own cigars (in fact, the actual rolling factory is right here in my town). I have had a couple of their cigars which I have enjoyed thus far. Let me just give a quick run down of what they offer:
-Dominican and Nicaraguan blend filler
-Indonesian binder
-Conneticutt, Sumatra, Maduro, and Cameroon wrappers.
-As far as I've seen, all the basic sizes, plus torpedos and pyramids.
-Speciality sizes, such as..
-Presidente 56x8 (all but Cameroon)
-Colossal 60x9 (same)
-Gigante 80x10 (Sumatra only. Takes a 3 day
order)

I am seeing if anyone is interested in trading for such cigars. Im trying to offer to trade a cigar(s) that not many others can. You see, although I have a deep appreciation for cigars, in matters of experience, I'm somewhat of an amateur. I'm still in that period of buying singles and trying variety. I am looking for cigars of any origin, Cuban or otherwise. My main interest is trading for a cigar(s) that are not too common (not extremely rare, but Im sure you get my drift). Something that the other trader is extremely fond of, something to expand my horizons, etc. I realize the cigars I have to offer may not hold a value close to what another trader has, so I have no problem in offering a number of cigars for a single. Thats basically it, sorry for the long post, but I am basically new to the bored, plus I wanted to let you know where I'm coming from.

Digging this one up from the past. I live in Austin Texas and in the downtown district there is a cigar shopt called Bobalu Cigar Co. that has a cigar roller on hand and rolls cigars in the window of the shop.

I'm fairly new to these boards also and since you seem to be offering the same type of cigars as the Bobalu Cigar Co I'd be willing to pick up a few and send them your way.

The difference here is that Bobalu makes their own brand of cigar, but you can also buy fresh hand rolled cigars. Would you want the fresh ones or the production ones?

I've yet to try any of them (not for any particular reason though) so I can't really recommend any one specific cigar. I'll have to go in there again and check out their supply.

Let me know if you're interested.

P.P.S.

They have a 6 Cigar Sampler which I think I am going to pick up for myself sometime soon. If anyone is interested in one of these let me know and I'll send it out PIF style.

I picked up one of the samplers last week. I've not smoked any of the ones in the sampler but I did smoke of the Reservas (I think, can't find it on the website). It was a pretty good smoke, with a light draw. Didn't make that much smoke but it was pretty tasty. A little over priced in my opinion. I think I'd prefer a Rocky Patel Vintage (which is what it was supposedly compared to).

Anyway, the offer still stands. If someone would like one of these samplers, let me know.
