Looking to trade some Hemmingway Best Sellers. I would be willing to trade off about 8 or so. Would like to try some work of art or untold story, natural or maduro, I know that the trade would be a little uneven, so I would be willing to through in a mystery (to you) smoke that I'm sure anyone would enjoy.
Thanks and Merry Christmas

Hey Rod, I hope you find some. The WoA and Untold in Maduro are great. I wish I could get them in larger quantity, but I heard that only 200 boxes of each get made a year. When I get my grubby little hands on some, I hoard them.

I don't blame you for stashing them, I've never seen them in any of the stores I go to. Frown

J-Rod you are in luck!

I was at Holt's today and they had some Untold Stories! The max was one per customer, so I had my buddy buy one and I bought one. I'm hoarding these things like a madman, but drop me your snail mail and I will send you one. Email in profile. I'm off tomorrow so if you get me that addy tonight it will be on it's way first thing tomorrow.

No problem! My only regret is that they wouldn't let me get anymore! If I could have gotten a dozen or so I would have traded off 6 to you. I think all totaled my count in my humi for Untold Stories is 6, 2 from 2003 and 4 from 2004. I haven't smoked one in months, but all thsi talk about them has got my mouth watering.

Woo Hoo! I'll keep my eyes peeled, hopefully it will get here before the 10-12" of snow that is due this weekend! Nothing like being snowed-in with plenty of firewood and a stash of cigars!

Update!: It arrived this morning. Thanks agin J-Rod!

Tracking showed it was on my doorstep and when I got home I opened it up...I haven't had a Cuban Punch in a while and I broke my own rules about letting newly shipped cigars sit, long story short, I'm smoking it now!...guess I should have read this post first!

Anyway it does taste just a bit young but very good. I noticed a fair amount of tooth to the wrapper. Judging by how good this one is I'd say you'll be looking at some mighty fine smokes at the 12 month mark!

Thanks again J-Rod!

If you are looking for Hemingway's, tampasweetheart.com has the full line in stock (short stories, best sellers, and even works of art) - limited supply, but as of last Wednesday, they had them all (they also have Don Carlos' by the box-full!).

Prices are MSRP, and only Fuente lines, but they have great service and are a class operation (as it should be....Carlos Fuente Jr. runs the operation).

BTW...if you like Fuentes' try the Flor de Ybor City sampler packs (especially the Maddies)....one of the best "below the radar" bundles, and seem to be a best-kept secret.
They are all made by Fuente in the Fuente Dominican factory, top quality construction and tobacco (as are all Fuentes), and very reasonably priced. If people think that Fuente doesn't make bundles, they don't know about these. Try them, and I'll bet you will order a bundle or two as I did (the Belicoso SGs are exceptional also, and with a couple of months on them, are sublime.)
Cool

rbihari, thanks for the heads up. I still have some fax order sheets for tampa sweethearts. My wife and I visited them about 2 years ago. Nice shop that a local pointed us to, a little off the beaten path in Ybor city, but deffinately worth the visit.
