Um, Asking for cubans, for sale or otherwise......um, Ain't the best way to get them.

Besides, it's illegal for anyone in the U.S. to purchase or smoke cuban cigars.

Whew! That took some control.

Hey adam,
What they're trying to say is; it's not ettiquette to come in here right off the bat asking for cubans. Like they said, illegal and all that stuff. You've had reletively few posts here so maybe ya oughta just hang out a while and maybe go to the Pay It Forward group and see how things are done. Maybe, and I stress maybe, someone might slip in one amongst the bundle. But to barge in and start asking for them is the best way to never get one. Oh, one more thing, when you do the PIF, be happy with what you get. Lots of folks here give out of thier stash and the wrong comment will land you into getting nothing. Kosher? Good, welcome to the board. Hang out and read and learn.

man johncarbaugh you are so nice, and yes the only real Cohibas are the ones that are in a glass top box. Wink
Adam-d since you are new I'll go ahead and explain this one, NEVER ever buy Cohibas that are in a glass top box. Those are not real! I tell you what, go to the cigar trading section, put down a list of CC's that you want and put down a list of NC's that you are willing to trade them for.

We're not trying to jump your bones. Just maybe ya went about things a bit wrong. Hey we all make mistakes. Don't run away. Hang around and just learn how things work first, then jump in and enjoy the fun. There's lots of people here with more years than I am old with cigar experience. Hang around and learn from them.

yea dude, nothing against you... I would love to maybe work out some trades or something in the futur, but it's just hard to take guys who come on wanting to buy our CC's when they are so hard to come by... plus, no one has them on this forum they are illegal Roll Eyes
so, dont worry about it, you are welcome and encouraged to stick around and add to the forum, you will see that things like this happen often, which is why so many people respond in a negative way.
So, now that all that is clear,
Welcome to the forum, hope you are able to learn alot, and enjoy your time here.

yea man, sorry adam-d if you thought I was being rude, I guess now that I look back it could've been taken as a rude comment. But I'm just trying to help you understand how this works, I got flamed just like you did when I first started posting so no worries. If you want, e-mail me, I'll see if we can get a trade going. I have a 1 or two CC's that I would trade with you.

My smoking buddy just took a vacation to Germany and brought back 2 boxes of Romeo Y Julietas Short Churchills. A very "clean", medium body, with a perfect draw smoke. Let me know if you might be interested.
