Originally posted by Scottological: The main issue is not so much damage as loss. If they lose the package, there's no one to say whether it was $400 in cigars or $400 in Princess Diana commemorative Christmas ornaments.
Also, I'm not sure if FedEx or even the Post Office will ship cigars either.
Good point, though, acaffey, I'll look into it more and see if we can't adjust to a different carrier.
But that said, DO NOT TELL UPS YOU ARE SHIPPING CIGARS. Just say it's sports memorabila or whatever.
I checked FeDex and DHL and they appear to have similar, if not identical policies. Not sure about USPS.
Oh - how many princess diana commemorative ornaments can I trade for a Monte?

I have a few - they were pricey but my local shop has some left - anyone else buy these at friggin $23 a stick or am I the only idiot that would pay that kind of premium?
I have yet to have one as they only have a few weeks on them in my humi, but I may be willing to pick a few more up for a trade if someone wants to try it and there's not any left in the pass.

Here is what I am probably going to add to the box: Gurkha Class Regent Robusto AVO 80th Anniversary Padron 1964 Anniversary Diplomatico
I will probably pull one of the Ashton, a Hemmingway signature, and a Padron Superior as I have not smoked one of those lately.
I will certainly post again after I actually make the swap as I may change my mind.
I have a L. Gomez Diez Americano, a Diamond Crown Robusto, a La Flor Dominicana DL-700, an RP 1992 Vintage Churchill, and some other >89 smokes I am still considering.

No idea on my puts and takes... ESGs would be cool, haven't seen them in the few places i go... so it would be nice... its funny im sure if i did see them they'd be well over 23 a pop though.
I decided to go with diversity as a guide, and all of those smokes are good smokes. All re-packaged and shipping paid for- I will drop it off tomorrow and it should be at yachties23's by Wed.
The most fun I have had while keeping my pants on, I must say. I was certainly tempted by the Puros Pyramides, but I am scared to smoke one- they look like they would beat me up!
