Do to new regulations, cigars can not be shiped so tell them it's somthing else. Or they won't ship it. So Mr. green it will say it's coming from my shop. Custom creations. So I hop you wanted $400 in body jewelry, Not my house, just in case they called the other UPS stores in town. And for the host I left a Zino platinum cepter-shorty. Sorry all out of chubbys and lowriders. So did I do good on my first box pass?

Dude, nice choices and nice puts. And as for the Zino, well, what can I say... That's extremely kind of you, though completely unnecessary! Thank you, Dale. Nice job.

Thx. Well I was goimg to poot that zino in a backwoods pouch as a joke, and tell you I left the back woods for you. But then reconsiderd. Some one might toss the pack and replace it with somthing more appropriate,(hop I spelled that right)not knowing the zino was in ther. I'll just save the jokes and gags for next time when everybody knows me a little beter. And as for the host bag I understand it is not necessary, how about thanks for leting me join.

I am looking forward to getting the box and adding/taking. I am going to have to do some shopping: most of what I have appropriate for the box is already in there! I must have a similar palette to Scott and Dale!
I didn't see a Gurkha Regent in there - is that appropriate? Maybe if someone has a request, I can drop and trade that, so post any requests and I'll tobacco shop this afternoon. I have a couple of DC Maximus, too.
I do have some I have been aging in the bottom of the humi I should survey again. Someone down the line make a request for something not present, and I'll dig in my box and see what happens.

You're right about the prohibition regs on tobacco shipment through UPS - take a look at www.ups.com/tobacco: "Packages containing tobacco or tobacco products, as those terms are variously defined under applicable state law ("Tobacco Product Shipments"), are accepted for transportation only from shippers who are licensed and authorized to ship tobacco and tobacco products pursuant to applicable laws..."
Also, in reference to insurance in their terms of service agreement: "UPS will not be liable or responsible for the loss of or damage to any package, the contents of which UPS is not authorized to accept, which UPS states that it will not accept, or which UPS has a right to refuse."
Hmmm... Is our $400 insurance policy actionable? Any thoughts anyone?

The main issue is not so much damage as loss. If they lose the package, there's no one to say whether it was $400 in cigars or $400 in Princess Diana commemorative Christmas ornaments.
Also, I'm not sure if FedEx or even the Post Office will ship cigars either.
Good point, though, acaffey, I'll look into it more and see if we can't adjust to a different carrier.
But that said, DO NOT TELL UPS YOU ARE SHIPPING CIGARS. Just say it's sports memorabila or whatever.
