Mmmmmmm... backwoods are like the "big league chew" of cigars. It's like they roll them with chewing tobacco that doesn't make the cut.

(it was a joke) I don't drink natty light either

I know - I was joking as well but my dry (read crappy) humor doesn't translate well in type. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh - and I love to sip a fresh, flavorful, lovingly brewed Natty Light while I sit in my single wide and pick my banjo.
No problem at all and its not taken personally. I'll take this opportunity to introduce my self a little though, I'm a local business owner in Terre Haute, IN. Wife, 3 kids, like Corvettes! I've been hanging out at my local cigar shop looking over the massive selection. I have a decent little collection and can't wait to try some of what I have. I'm an ex-smoker so I dont want to do more than one a day for fear of waking the addiction monster. Anyway, hope to get to know some of you and I wont take anymore thread space since this probably isnt the thread to introduce myself anyway! Smile
I hear you about not wanting to wake that addiciton monster. Unfortunately, mine's a light sleeper.

Anyway, welcome. Most people here are kind, but some of the guys over in the Cuban Cigars forum can be real tools, so be careful what you post there.

Look around, and when you feel like it, jump into the PIF.

Cook, welcome to the forums. There are some great people here. You will feel at home in no time. Get in on the PIFNET3. You will enjoy that and can introduce yourself to the trading community.

What a gentleman you are. You just saved me a lot of time and effort, cs, thank you so very much.

Guys, let's all go by this excellent table and take the average price.

Again, cs, thank you!

All right, gentlemen, I humbly propose we wrap this up and get the box moving. Like tomorrow.

Here are the participants in the order in which they will receive the box. I've tried to do this roughly in a way that makes a rough geographic loop and will thus limit transit time.

Dale Ebright Jr., SD
Mean Willie Green, OH
Yachties23, NY
Daveo, MD
TSFoster, GA
acaffey, GA
TigerFan2, AL
RX2010, TX
CECTech, TX
BrandonFD3S, CA
SLKCA, HI
Fyrmanbob, OR
Scottological, CO

With the exception of TSFoster, no one has requested that this be delivered to their work address. Thus it will go to the address you gave me. Please speak up now if you want it sent somewhere else.

Anyone know if the USPS Priority with tracking and insurance requires a signature? If so, then we may have to gather up a whole new list of everyone's work addresses unless someone will be there to sign it. I'll look into this, but if anyone knows, please drop me a line and let me know.

Obviously, if it does require a signature, I'll let everyone know and hold off sending this puppy until new addresses have been collected.

sounds good, I'm ready to get started.

I'll have a few CC's at my disposal by the time it gets to me, so I'll be very interested to see what the selection looks like when my turn comes up.

btw, my home addy is best either way

The site is for on line retailers so taxes aren't included. Your local prices will be higher depending on taxes. The site is a good way to normalize across different states.

One more suggestion - if you are not sure of the origin of a CC you're thinking of putting in, you got it from a friend or on a recent trip at a gift store, you may want to forgot about putting it into a pass.

I've seen four things mess up box passes before:
1) Someone steals the box
2) CC of questionable origins are put in the box
3) Cigars of equal value are not exchanged
4) Someone forgets to buy insurance/tracking on the box and the USPS misplaces it

I'm getting them (CC's) from NiceAsh, some RyJ's and Punch Punch's.

I suppose he could vouch for their authenticity

Puros Indios – Pyramide #1
Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve – Churchill
Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 – torpedo
Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 – robusto

Montecristo #2 (Habanos) – torpedo

Something for everyone, really, and in a wide variety of price points. If you haven't yet seen the Puros Indios Pyramides, you're going to laugh. They're enormous. Extra points to anyone who can smoke a whole one.

Thats a good point regarding price, I didn't think of that.

Here's the deal, guys:

I looked into various shipping options and ultimately I think cssmithnj is right - the USPS priority mail service is distinctly lacking in its tracking capabilities. Because the dollar value of this package is high, this makes me nervous. Thus, I'm going to use UPS Ground and suggest that you do the same.

Also, because it's already Thursday, the soonest it could get to its first destination, Brandon SD, would be Monday. That's about 4 days sitting in a hot truck. Instead, I'm going to ship it out Monday via UPS and, according to them, it should get to Dale by Wednesday.

Sorry for the delay, but it's all about the safety and well-being of the sticks.

Just out of curiosity, have you thought of overnight shipping? That would obviously put the box in the hands of strangers for the least amount of time. I'm guessing the box is fairly light, shouldn't cost much.
