Guys, there is a premium box pass thread on page 4(started by Jrod). I would recommend glancing over it to see how a nearly flawless box pass goes, and the caliber of cigars that changed hands. It was very educational for me

Scott, I sent my address but I don't think there was anything in the subject line of the message - sorry. Blasted Blackberry.

The list looks good.

I suggest making sure that a signature is required for delivery. That way if i'm not home, I can go to the shipper and pick up the package in person. Alot safer and less stress for me. heh heh.

CEC, duly noted. If anyone else has the same request, let me know and I'll make a note for the person who forwards the humi to you.

One other suggestion - require shipment via UPS or FedEx. Their tracking is much better than USPS.

Also, get real names and addresses. Attempt to verify the addresses. And don't ship to Ohio.

I commend you for setting this up. But you're taking a big risk with so many new folks. Not saying they're bad, but be careful. Look back in history here. You'll find a box pass where the box was stolen by some 'sshole in Ohio.

cs,

All excellent tips. I will be doing some sort of address verification in the near future once I have everyone's 411.

Once that's taken care of, I'm not too worried about the box being stolen. It's fascinating how many ways there really are to make someone's life a living hell. The pleasure of it would far outweigh the cost of the cigars.

There are also many talented persons with years upon years of computer skills who can do the same.

It sucks that one jerk can ruin the validity of any newcomer from Ohio. Looks like I have some extra work to do to gain credibility.
