Aloha Slkca, I use to live in Pearl City...long ago. I'm sure things have changed. Looking forward to the box...kinda cool the path these sticks have taken....Bob
So I arrive home today and there on my door step was a traveled hard, cross countried, aloha bearing, beat up, bombed out box of love...no sh*t, it made it from Hawaii to Oregon in less than one day...HOLY CRAP Slkca, I bet you had to sell a kidney to pay for that...
I'm looking over the sticks and will post my takes and "poots" this evening. Box on it's way home tomorrow to Scott.
Here's a tally of the mileage. I was bored and with internet access only took a few minutes: 10,657 miles; longest pass Brandon to slkca 2611, shortest Foster to ACaffey, 23.
Most patience award goes to Fyrmanbob of course. Most balls, Scottological - for starting it up.
Enjoyed it!

First off, I want to tell you guys how much fun this was. Each of you, in my opinion, traded in good faith. The results are an impressive collection of cigars, many of which I've never tried and some of which I've never seen.
Also, you all acted as fantastic stewards to the box while it was in your possession. To be honest, I was worried the sticks were going to arrive back to me damaged and dry. Instead, I received an up-armored Ark of the Covenent, double boxed on the outside and amply padded on the inside. The sticks themselves were mostly in perfect condition - moist, intact, and smokable right off the truck.
And to all of you who added Tupperware and Hummidipaks, thank you. If you want the Tupperware back, just shoot me an email where to send it.
I just got back from New York where I had stopped at the the venerable JR, Nat Sherman, and Barclay Rex to pick up some hard-to-find NC's. Just as I was trying to find room for them in the humidor, the courier showed up with the box. For a good two hours my office floor was littered with delicious smokes of all kinds. Sorting through them was a lot of fun.
Honestly, guys, thanks for the great time. Your generosity with the host selections was out of this world. I don't think I'm going to have to buy anymore smokes for a while.
Let's do it again!

Sorry, Yachties. I would have loved that, but I was just there for a few days and had a full schedule. Nex time. We'll go to Florio's in Little Italy. You know that place?
