I'm ready and waiting.

Question...

quote:
They are all smokable at this point, but won't get any better with travel.

It goes without saying - there is a ton of great smokes in this package. Aside from careful handling and re - packing in the provided format (tupperdoors, humipacks and whatnot), is there anything else that I can do to help ensure that we don't even have one casualty?

I know that part of the fun is looking at all of them, but in the interest of their survival, I have already determined my takes and puts and will simply leave the rest as undisturbed as possible.

Oh... TS, nice puts and host bag contribution!

Thanks guys.

Wow! Thanks, Tom!

Yeah, I'm going to have to get a new humidor I think. Also, thanks for the repackaging. I think you chose your takes wisely. Both the tatuaje and cabaiguan are my favorite NC's. And the Padron is a classic.

Let me know if your takes are in any way unsmokable. If they're too dry or too damaged, just shoot me an email and I'll replace them for you immediately. Seriously. Don't hesitate.

Glad to do what I can for the pass. There may be some misunderstanding regarding the prior statement that they won't get any better with travel. I was referring only to the few that were dinged. The balance of the smokes looked beautiful. I think I am going to put the Tatuaje out of its misery tonight.

Caffey, shoot me an e-mail please.

Due to the good fortune of Caffey's proximity, I was able to meet up with him, have a drink, a little conversation, and pass the box. Nice guy, and for my (his) trouble he gave me a Tatuaje Cojonu. Thanks ACaffey, I'll make sure to send one (or more) your way in the near future.

The pleasure was mine, Tom. I was home cooking hamburgers by 8:00.

I will open up the box tomorrow (I have a presentation to give in the morning that should keep me up late enough as it is), and will have it shipped by Friday morning at the latest but will try to have it out tomorrow. Due to Mr. Foster's generosity with his time and tolerance for traffic, everyone gets the box at least 2 days earlier.

I'll post takes / puts tomorrow.

Thanks Aaron! The Edicion de Silvio was not necessary and very generous of you. The list in the box looks great.

Ok guys I got it.

I wanted to run my takes and puts by yall to see if they were equal.

I was going to take the Ashton ESG, the tatuaje reserva, the PAM 26, and the opus(the shorter one).

And put a pam 64-I think it is the superior, not sure, a gurkha legend torpedo, a RyJ short Churchill, and a Monte No.2.

If that's not cool let me know. And I haven't decided what I was going to put in the host bag.

How do the MSRP's + rarity stack up? I'm not in a math mood today.

Scott,
Do the CC's have to be banded? I have a couple of Por Larranaga petit coronas '05 without the bands I may want to trade out, also I have some cuaba exclusivos '04. Just wanted to run that by you and see what ya think.

Bandless smokes are fine, just post what they are and the sizes so we know what we're smoking.
