|¦|¦¦¦ Brightness Hiding (明夷 míng yí) Darkening of the Light

Inner/Lower: Li or Flame
Outer/Upper: Kun or Earth

It's winter time and maybe, just maybe, the last little poem was a clue... Boy, your are tough, but I am sure that the prize is great! Wink

[EDIT] - I just noticed that The EVP Beat Bill-NJ to the punch.

EVP, the prize is yours!

Bill-NJ - send me your info as well, you should get something for being correct but two minutes late... Wink

And the sun smiles upon you...

It is warm in the garden, the first buds of spring, still closed, waiting...

We have a winner!

Hexagram 62 is named 小過 (xiao3 guo4), "Small Exceeding". Other variations include "preponderance of the small" and "small surpassing". Its inner trigram is ☶ (艮 gen4) bound = (山) mountain, and its outer trigram is ☳ (震 zhen4) shake = (雷) thunder

Thunder over the Mountain - reducing ambitions (a friendly note to myself to not get too carried away)

Please send me your shipping info - I will have your package en-route either today or tomorrow.

My thanks to all for participating, and for allowing me to indulge my literary leanings on this small stage.

Big Grin

Good contest...I was in the same boat as Hawksfan and was absolutely clueless and thought that maybe cigars weren't the only thing being smoked by the members here. Learned something new and not a bad concept for a future contest. It forces you to learn something new and get rewarded for it too. Thanks again CrazyPoet... Big Grin

Good contest Crazy. I want to know how EVP and Bill figured it out. I was looking at all the choices and trying to figure out what fit the best.
