I have access to an original Cigar that was given persoanlly by Winston CHurchill himself back in the 40's.It has the original label on it but it has not been kept in a humidor. It is his personal brand. Does anyone know how I can rehydrate it..if at all or should it just be preserved? ALso I am looking to see if any collectors would be interested in it.

Why is this in the Trading Forum.

I'm assuming it's been out of a humi for some time. Don't bother trying to rehydrate it. Put it in a museum.

If you can prove the provenance you should call Christie's in London. The cigar isn't smokeable, but if what you say is true you do have a piece of history there. Remember, you can't sell things on this board. You can only trade.

Christie's has some excellent stuff, eh David?! I subscribe to the catalogue and drool at some of the offerings, which are estimated reasonably enough, but I'm sure some western European merchants take and bid many lots exceeding the estimates ...

Brian Ebbesen is a class act as well, and really knows his stuff.
