Hi all! My original intent behind this thread was basically to start something where members are able to make straight up trades...
A few guidelines to stick to are:
1) Post lists of no more than 8 cigars you are willing to include in a "package" trade.
2) propose trades off what members have posted...
By doing this, we will be able to learn more about what is in each others humi's and thus learn more about each other.
Also, once you have initiated a convo, continue it privately. However, feel free to post the trade once you decide on one. It is encouraged to do so.
Finally, once you have performed your trade, go back and edit your initial post so that the list is no longer there (if you wish, delete your list, and edit it with the final trade).
ONE LAST THING, THIS IS NOT A WISHLIST!!! YOU SHOULD EITHER BE POSTING A LIST OR RESPONDING TO A LIST WITH AN OFFER.
-----------------------------------------

Since i'm still technically a student and dont have money right now to spend on cigars, I wanna maybe trade some of my favorites for some of yours!!!
TRADED:

1 davidoff #2
1 Punch coronation en tubo CC
1 RyJ coronitas en cedro cc
for
2 monte #2 and a perdomo with wunderdawg

Wow! Perhaps someday I will be able to come up with something worthy of a trade like this, but My Humi doesn't have anything in the same category I don't think. Hope it works out well for you.

Some quick thoughts and ideas on this thread - please think about them and comment.

I like the core idea of the "Getting to know you" trade. What I'd like to see is people putting up their lists, as we're already doing - and then if you want to trade, put up your own list for comment from the community. Sort of like posting takes and puts for a box pass.

This gives us a chance to share information and education, as well as putting together some fun trades. It will also help to ensure like for like, quality for quality and rarity for rarity in the trades.

What do you think?

Crazy, I like your idea. This is a nice thread and I hope it continues because it could be a wonderful addition to the forums. To take it even further, I see it as a means to get things off your "wish list" and build credibility at the same time.

I know sometimes it can seem difficult to get your requested wishes granted just beacuse of the sheer volume of posts in those forums. I don't have the means to hand out sticks to anyone who wants them and I would assume there are a number of people in the same boat as me.

I'll try to get a list together tonight and see what develops.

Good Idea HDJ, this will keep the trading alive. I like opening up the mailbox and seeing something other than bills!

JLaker, that's an interesting list, with CC's that I've not yet tried. You're offering a six-for-five trade - what are ypu balancing?

I'd call this a good trade for us both - does anyone have any thoughts to offer?
