Darien, I don't think any of us have any either. I don't think they're that many in production. Frown If I had them I'd make a deal. But...I don't so you and I can suffer together. Razz Big Grin

They cost about $48.95 each at my tobacconist, which is too expensive for me. I tried a Cuaba Divinos on Monday and it was a decent cigar, a bit grassy tasting. It didn't impress me too much though.

Darien man, you might have to splurge and buy a box of these yourself.

Hey DR...If you get a chance to try one of these you should! I was given one and absolutely loved it. I find them a whole lot better than the Divinos.

Darien...sorry but I think DR is right. For now anyway. I wouldn't mind a few, but I don't think I could split a box by half. Just too much for my pocket book.

Salamones in Loblaws in Kirkland and at the Montreal LCDH.

Quality does not occur by chance. It is the result of intelligent activities.

Cgarfan:
WOW ,the "coin of the realm" [Iraqi] has arrived, along with an unexpected bomb. It was a nice surprise, you are very generous sir.I have always wanted to try one of these.

BTW what resort will you be staying at in Cayo?I was at the Melia Cayo Guillermo last fall for a week and had an opportunity to make day trips to the Tryp,Sol Melia Cayo Guillermo, Melia Cayo Coco, and Iberostar Daquiri, all nice hotels.

The M.C.G has a fantastic LCDH and the Manager ,Ramone Reyes Perez is very helpful, even though his english is limited. His shop is only a short walk from all of the hotels in Cayo G., and even if you are staying the other end of the key's in Cayo Coco I would recommend the Cab ride to his shop. The shop was very well stocked the only cigar that he did not have at the time were BBf'S, which I really wanted.

I just about had a coronary one afternoon when I went into his shop, that morning a cigar shipment had come in from Havana, there were cases of just about every cigar you could imagine piled from the floor to the cieling, this place is a real "candy store"

I was not impressed with the Caracol tobacco shops at the other resorts.
, most had young girls working there that did not know much and coulnd't care less what you were interested in.

If Salomones are your interest and you can get to Havana, go to the Partagas factory store and ask Kikki, the store manager. La china rolls in that store and they have all the Salomones you want for $8. I also saw no shortage of Cuaba Salomones. Use up your 23 cigar limit for these cigars. They are a great smoke, something that would be very appropriate at xmas time whn you have a couple of hours.

Ketche...
about the stores in the Cayo's... I couldn't agree with you more. But I still found that the Casa wasn't THAT great either. I guess it takes a lot to please me Wink
And they didn't have BBF's either!! DOOHOO!!

Flying to Cuba for a week and buying a box of Siglo VI there is still cheaper than buying them in Canada. DAMN TAXES.
