I am working on a project, and I am going to need more cigar bands. I am trying to cover my coffee table with bands and then shellac over it (I am a college kid, so I can get away with furniture like this ). At the rate that I smoke now its going to take me a while to get enough. So if anyone has been holding onto their bands and has no use for them, I will buy them off your hands. I wish I had seen this post weeks ago when I was cleaning out my apartment in anticipation of my move. I had a small (25 count) humidor filled with cigar bands

I have 5 real collectable bands that I would part with for about $100 each. Just let me know how many you may want. Just kidding, What is your time frame on getting the bands. I could start collecting some form the Shop I frequent.

I'm afraid you have given me the cigar band furniture bug. My wife is kind enough to allow me a "hole" in our unfinished basement. I think I'll make a little CB furniture of my own. I'll post a picture when I finish it...then I'll start sending you my bands if you still need them.

Like I said, I love your idea. I also thought about cutting out some picks of cigars from the magazines and adding them to the mix.

sorry i havent sent them yet man, i have been out of town for the past week. once i get back home, that will be the 1st thing i do.

sounds like a good idea. I'm a college student too and have been saving mine. I want to do something but can't figure out what to do yet.
