O.K... I Give up!!! I have obviously sent up a red flag, or offended the forum somehow. If the golf memorabilia truly strikes no interest that's fine, but I still would like to do some trading. I do have some cigars to offer up. Again, if I offended the forum and it's members in anyway, I apologize. I have really learned a lot from all the forums, and all of the members.
It's a great place for a cigar lover to hang out.
Since my post, I have received some pretty crappy E-Mails and honestly don't understand why.
I Respect everyone on this board, as well as the other boards, and never in a million years anticipated this reaction. If there is no interest in trading with me, that's fine, But I do feel I deserve an explanation as to why.
Respectfully

Fine, this is post #4 for you. no one knows who you are, yet. you havent been around long enough to establish a relationship with anyone on this board. and to make matters worse, you want to trade for a CC, which is only done when one person knows the other real well (for abvious reasons) . this is too soon for you.
stick around, post on a regular basis. make some friends. participate in a box pass, or a pay it forward. get to know the people on the board. a lot of great guys are here by the way.But no one is going to trade anything until they are comfortable with you.
It'll happen in time, so stick around and be patient. Smile

Finefiddler,

I haven't done any trades or passes but the above seems to be the protocol: That people should hang out for a while and get known first.

Glad you like the forum and didn't get scared away. See you around.

Yup, once you have been here a while it is hard not to get trades. The people here are so friggin generous, they just send you stuff out of the blue. Build a good reputation first and then try again. PIF's are great way to start and maybe someone will let you in on a box pass.

Yeah, like just today Pmp was thinking about loading up his top drawer stash and just sending it to me! Big Grin

Of course, Pmps top drawer stash would never make it past the postal inspectors....but that's another thread entirely.

Peace.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries.

I guess I'm just not understanding this *hit...

Why whould a dude work this hard to gain some trust, then the first chance he gets he screws someone?

intentional, or just a couple of cards short of a full deck?
