I am looking for someone who has some extra cigars, no more than a couple. I'd like to have them. The brand doesn't matter as long as they are kept good humidified and handled.

I'd be glad to try any of you favorites guys. The reason I am asking this is because all the stores here do not keep their cigars in a humidor, so they actually suck. If someone here can send me one or two, maybe I can smoke them before they get de-humidified, once I recieve them.

Thanks a lot guys.

Then it's not a good idea to pick up an expensive hobby like this.

You will find that most people on these boards are very generous, but also expect that their generosity will be payed back at some time.

What good would come of us sending you smokes?

Lets say I send you 5 average to good cigars, you smoke them and really like them.

Now they're gone and you have a hunger for more. The pharmacy smokes aren't gonna cut it for you now that you've tasted the good stuff.

Because of financial instability you resort to pawning all of your electronics and eventually selling yourself on the corner to a guy named Bubba. You use all the money for cigars and forget to pay your rent or buy groceries...

You see where this is leading? I'm gonna save you the trouble and just say no to your request.

I've been looking for a nice Cohiba Behike. The B&M's around here don't stock them, and the one I did find was fake.

If anyone here happens to have a couple just laying around. I'd like to have them. Please send them next day air so they do not become de-humidified. If possible ship the box/humidor they came in.

Thank you brothers!

Without trying to knock you too much you should realize that you are asking people to 1) give you cigars, 2) not just that but their favorite ones, which are probably somewhat pricey, 3) in good condition 4) and eat all shipping fees. Thats a pretty tall order.

Additionally, you say that you are only asking because the stores do not keep their stock humidified. But in your next post you say you can't afford to buy online. It has to be one or the other, either you; 1) have money to buy but the dried out cigars suck or 2) you have no money in which case it doesn't matter whether the cigars are dried out since you cant afford them anyway.

Long story short you can get a passable humidor for pretty cheap on ebay and the same can be said for online cigars. If you seriously can't afford the $50-$75 dollar start up fee then you may need a new hobby.

On the off chance you are being sincere I do wish you luck but I have to say your posts just don't make sense to me.

Okay I am sorry I am sorry, easy on me guys, I am new in the field, I still don't even know the exact prices of the stuff and how expensive they can be. Big Grin

I bought a new cigar today, a cheap one and of course not stored in a humidor, but it smells sweet. Unfortunately I ripped off the plastic it came in which carried it's name so I don't remember the name. I will try it tonight.

Do you guys know how can I humidify the cigars, because as I said all stores here just store them outside humidors. Note that here in Alexandria, Egypt, we have a pretty much high humidity level during the summer. Is there a manual way or an easy way that I can humidify the thing without having a humidor, because as you can guess, they aren't sold here anywhere. Maybe they are sold in some rich stores in Cairo, but not here in Alexandria.

Also, I think you are right, if I want something, I have to give something in return. I am offering anyone who is willing to send me a couple of cigars (no specific brand, no specific category) the following:

1-An ancient Egyptian papyrus paper with colorful ancient Egyptian texts drawings and inscriptions.
2-A set of Egyptian currency notes as a souvenir.

Anyone interested please email me, soonadracula@yahoo.com

Oh, I forgot to say, the papyrus paper isn't a real ancient one from 5000 BC, of course, these are only kept in museums and even if I have one it will be dust by the time it reaches the receiver, what I am offering is an exact replica made using the same materials and even made the same way the ancient Egyptians used.

If you have a plastic container that is air tight you can use that to store your cigars and keep them humid. Just use a damp (not wet) sponge to keep the moisture constant. You will have to judge for yourself how humid to keep the cigars.

As for getting any, it would probably be most cost effective to find someone in the UK or somewhere closer.
