As many of you already know, today is the 233rd birthday of our beloved Marine Corps. Since I'm feeling generous today, I thought I would host a contest to celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday, as well as, Veteran's Day. The rules are simple, whoever can guess what platoon number I was in at MCRD San Diego will receive a 5er of top shelf smokes from me. To help out all of those who are not familiar with the way the platoons are numbered at MCRD San Diego, there are three training battalions, therefore, the first number will be either a one, two, or three. There are then three proceeding numbers that represent the platoon number. Therefore, the numbers can range from 1001 to 3999. This game will run until midnight tonight (central time), and I will post the winner in the morning. Each person is allowed two guesses, but they may be edited at any point during the day. I will post a couple of hints to help out as the day progresses.

Good luck and Happy Birthday Marines,
Brent

I completely understand, and while the Marine Corps is a Department of the Navy, it just so happens, that it is the mens department. Wink

Thanks for your service, and hope you have a great Veteran's Day.
