In 2002 the Partagas shop had made a limited edition of 11 special humidors celebrating 157 years of the Partagas brand as well as the 11th Anniversary of the Casa Del Habanos cigar shop in the Partagas factory. containing 157 cigars of various vitolas, all specially banded with the Partagas XI black anniversary cigar label. They were signed by Fidel Castro and auctioned at a private dinner for industry insiders.
The anniversary humidors contained the following cigars: 15 Diademas, 15 Gran Coronas, 15 Piramides, 15 Julietas, 15 Robusto Extra, 15 "109s", 15 Prominentes, 15 Dalias, 15 Robustos, 7 Flor De Leopoldina and 15 Marevas.
I have the Julietas (churchills) from one of these humidors.
They are not for sale, but I will trade for Cuban Edición Limitadas. I have a small start to the series and it is my goal to obtain at least one of each. I will probably never taste most of them, and I'm OK with that, I just want a complete collection for my display humidor. If you are in the Vancouver area, or planning to visit anytime soon, and think you might have something to trade, please reply. I already have the 2007 line, the /06 Monte robusto & Cohiba piramide, the /05 RyJ petit piramide, and the /04 Cohiba sublimes and Partagas serie D no. 1.
I am open to offers on all others, but these are much rarer than any of the Edición Limitadas and I'll want to trade accordingly.
Cheers.
What this country needs is a really good 5-cent cigar.
