Last time I checked, Cohiba Black Supremos MSRP for around $15 apiece. They have clearly demonstrated that they are a quality cigar. I'm not sure where you're coming from.

You want to trade a Monte #2 for a Wanna be Cohiba? You must have lost your mind. The only reason they retail for $15 is because it's a marketing ploy to make you think they are good. Looking at what reviews there are of them, they don't look like they are worth more than $2
You must have thought I was referring to Cuban Montes, which I never specified because it never entered my mind. I have bought DR Montes from local stores for as low as 7.79 apiece. If you are the type of afficinado that assumes people with DRs are trying to ask for Cubans then more power to you, but it doesn't excuse your rudeness or arrogance.

What I love about these forums... the decorum. Actually, crossave, even a relative newbie like me will naturally think you're asking for ccs when you say Monte #2. Thus, I kinda thought you had to be kidding as well, and thought the other guy was being generous offering an empty Monte #2 box
And Jmunro, sometimes you can be a bit pedantic... but I do appreciate your knowledge.

I'm not referring to anything on this post, but arrogance and snobbish remarks run rampant on these boards with some of the members. It's one of the reasons why these forums are so slow.
However, there are twice as many good Brothers of the leaf on these forums who do check in from time to time and have a great wealth of knowledge.
What type of monte you talking about? Serie V, Platinum, white label? A relative newbie myself (2 year noob) I think the #2 refers to the size, does it not? I have two CC monte's and one Serie V Monte (DR) Both belicoso #2's.
From there, I think it's a preference on the blend. I wouldn't mind a trade. Also, you should think about getting in on the pay it forward thread in cigar trading. You could pay it forward and get some different smokes in return as well.

I think it's in my nature... I think training in neurosurgery requires one to be a bit by the books. I think the patients will eventually appreciate the fact

Thanks minalpharetta and CECtech for showing me there is some sense of hospitality and propriety in here. If I ever post looking for trades in here again I will try to have my eyes open and choose my wording more carefully.
