So basically I am looking for a modest sized humidor. Meaning pretty much anything from 25ct-100ct. This is going to be my first humidor. My only conditions are that it has to work and have a good seal. If I could get a quote that includes shipping. If all else fails I am just going to order from a website(already have a list). I am in Massachusetts if that makes a difference. Doesn't need humidifying element or hygrometer.

Also how much do hygrometers go for? I saw the cheapest decent one for like 20 dollars. It was a Caliber III.

Also tell me your preferred method of payment. Cash is out of the question, even if you are well known on these forums.

I like this one a lot. Plus you get free cigars.

I am looking to spend under $30-$40 shipped. IDK. I am just trying to start out and see how far a college student budget can take me.

Depending on what offers I get I might just order a new one.

It could look like a POS so long as it works well. Pictures included would be a big plus so I make sure it isn't some odd shape or shade.

Or you could just buy some tupperware, or even a cooler, add some beads, and you're set. Search for tupperdor or coolidor if you need help getting started.

Yea. I think I might just settle for a tupperdor. I just going to use a drymistat tube. Not sure if I will be able to fit a hygrometer for the container I want to use.

I had to build a tupperdor after I moved and my movers lost my humidor....don't worry the cigars were not lost as they were removed from the humidor before shipping by me and transported on the plane with me.

I wanted to do something temporary in hopes that my humidor would be recovered, alas it never was though. So I went out and purchased a few pieces of tupperware and converted them into a humidor. They are working well so far. (I went from one tupperware container to now having two). Now that it's been some time and I've had the chance to save up some money I'm looking for a large humidor to hold about 300 lose cigars and several boxes that I want to buy but haven't pulled the trigger on due to a lack of space. Tupperware turned into a Tupperdor is a great inexpensive way to store cigars especially if you don't have a need or a desire for an athestically pleasing humidor. By going this route you'll save money to buy more cigars Big Grin

Thanks for the advice Gimpy and Wes.

That sucks that you lost your humidor. I think I might start off with a tupperdor and build my own humidor when and if my collection gets really big.
