A Michelle Obama October Surprise Video?

Clinton supporter Larry Johnson claims he knows the Republican’s “October Surprise.” Supposedly there’s video of Michelle Obama railing against “whitey” in Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church. That’s why Sen. Obama lashed out like he did this morning.


I’m skeptical.

If the video exists it won’t stay hidden until the fall. All it takes is one digital copy to be let loose on YouTube. Also, the fact that someone leaked this news to a Clinton supporter screams of a disinformation campaign.

If there is a tape does it really surprise anyone? It's been said thats how Obama feels towards whitey. You think he went to that church all of those years and never heard his pastor say those words and it only now that he's left his church . He only left his church because he's running for president. Thats says a lot right there.

To supporters it may not matter, however, to independents it will mean everything. No one will win this election without the independent vote.

Come on people -- if true, this is guilt by association. All he did was marry the woman; it does not mean he is in any way connected with her.

You guys need to remember that pastors and spouses are not at all influential and would never affect any man who is a free thinker. No, not one bit. This is irrelevant and you should quit connecting Obama to his mentor and his wife in such a negative way. We need to stay above all this "politics as usual" and let our hopes and dreams soar above all the negativity.

I'm sure you're dying for there to be such a video. After all, with enough reverends, flag pins, false e-mails about his being a Muslim, enough slurs against his wife being REALLY proud to be an American (as if black people should be REALLY proud; their entire history here is one of struggle against the Presleys of America) AND enough GOP SLEAZE campaigning, maybe, JUST MAYBE America will forget that the GOP basically screwed the middle class and they have been a DISASTER for these past eight years. At least you better hope so, Elvis, because if voters remember the GOP's record these past eight years, then they would vote for Obama even if you had video of him waving a black liberation flag.

It's going to be a landslide, nobody in their right mind could vote for this Jimmy Carter wannabe except the far left lunatic fringe. Wait until the ads start in September, he's toast. But the dems are going to clean house in congress and the senate if they keep running conservative candidates.

A very stupid comment. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but there is no other way to put it. Blacks were raped, murdered, beaten, brought here as slaves, sold like dogs. Then they had to endure lynchings, discrimination, institutionalized racism. Not even fifty years have passed since blacks had to give their seats to whites on the bus. Not even fifty years. That was one of the most idiotic things I ever read on a cigar board in my life, dan954.

Cynicism and sarcasm are different things. Most people accuse me of being an idealist (go figure!).

And I think my sarcasm effectively communicates what the usual suspects will come back with. Michelle Obama has given speeches for the campaign, and yet I have seen Democrats and surrogates complain when she was taken to task for what she said. And don't even dare suggest that anything she has to say has any bearing on her husband.

It's not a smart thing to say dan954, but it doesn't mean it's not true.

Yes, black people were treated unfairly. There is still racial tension in this country and always will be. Especially in the South. There are too many White Supremacists who will not allow Obama to be president for long, if he does win.


I just like cigars, is that ok?
