Yet another awesome blog by Ecord. Thanks so much for posting this. I enjoy reading your cigar adventures. Good luck with the new job.

Excellent assessment EC. You've summed up what so many of us can't put into words.

Hey I just saw your myspace page. My favorite TV show of all time is Arrested Development. Your quote is amazing. little did they know that the banana stand was lined cash. I though no one else liked that show. I have been a freak about for along time. Nice to know there are others. I watch the dvds all the time. Anyways, congrats on the job.

AD may be the funniest show of all time, and I'm including classics like Fawlty Towers in that assessment. All three seasons are must owns on DVD. Anytime I need some cheering up, a little Caged Wisdom for George Bluth is all it takes.

Maybe I'll go fire up The Cornballer for a little snack tonight!

All I want to know is why you are going to write for some whiskey mag and not CA. If I was Marvin Shanken I'd be beating down your door to get you on staff. Awesome stuff as usual.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record but what the hell. Awesome entry as usual, the Extensioncord cigar blog is consistantly the best cigar related read of my month. Thank you.

Great blog Cord.

Always a good read.

I recently compared a Cuban Montecristo Churchill with a Tatuaje Tainos. Sorry that I could not give a specific name to the cuban I smoked but it was almost exact in size with the tainos. The band was a simple brown Montecristo Habana.

Disclaimers: I've only smoked one Cuban which was this one. A friend gave it to me from his travels. I stored keep it in the humi for 1&1/2 months. This is only my opinion and I am no expert.

After smoking the Monte I was astounded by the similarities with the Tat Tainos. And if I was to pick between the two it would be the Tainos by far. The Tainos beat the Monte hands down imo.

Just thought I would post that since your a huge Pepin fan.

I agree -- in my opinion, the Tatuaje Taino is one of the best double coronas right now, regardless of country of origin. I think Scottological is also a big fan of this stick.

E-cord, when are you going to review a Don Lucas? I have heard nothing but rave reviews about these.

I'd love to but there are no dealers in my area. They may have had a website but that apparently has lapsed. There was also a video on YouTube about the factory but that has been "removed by user." If someone wants to shoot a few my way, I'd be glad to oblige.
