The Padron 80th should be in my hands sometime this week. Until then, I've been smoking some other Padrons to whet my appetite...

Very nice. Completely agree with your 1926 maduro review. In fact any Padron 1926 or 1964 maduro is a real winner.

Care to trade a Padron 80 for a real Cohiba EL Sublime 2004?

Yep, I love the 64's but am ignorant to the 26's. Have not had one 26 which probably is a smoking sin. But not for long.. ordered 2 #2's and 2 #6's , mad and reg of each. Will let them sit for at least a month or two. Can't wait to try them out.

Nice review of the Lag. You should try the ARDBEG UIGEADAIL. This is the Darth Vader of single malts, but the taste does not come back to haunt you later, just the memories of the deep dank smell and taste. Makes the Lag seem like soda pop. Rating 9.5/10

I will have to try the Bal, as it sounds amazing.

What about a 80 taste test and review?

I have the Padron 80th in my humi resting. It needs a few days to stabilize since it was in transit from balmy Miami to freezing cold Pennsylvania over the course of three days. I'm hearing good things so far from my friends who have smoked it.

I wish I had that scotch selection in my own house. Did you grab a bottle for the road afterwards? Wink

Ecord you are not helping my budget with all of your cigar suggestions in your blog. You certainly have a wonderful way to describe cigars.

Glad you can all share in my sickness!

Hopefully this weekend I'll get to smoke the Padron 80th and give some detailed impressions and maybe even photos.

Nice little review on the Hoyo de Tradicion. I was eying that as my "big smoke" cigar for the night yesterday but felt adventurous and had the Cuba Aliados instead. Alas your review came too late! If I have time to smoke tonight I'll check out one of those hoyos...
