I personally have a cabinet, and a wine refrigerator for summer storage. Extensioncord has a great inexpessive way that he posted about on his blog for long term storage of boxes.
e-cords got it all down. i'd rather drop 2k on cigars than cabinets hands down!

Check out Pictures of your humidor... thread. You'll find anything from very simple/cheap ones to walk-in humis with lots of boxes.
Never got frankluke to tell the address and exact place of the walk-in humi in his (or was it his friend's) home. My instruments for burglary are all ready, just need to buy the ticket to fly over for one night ...

I agree. I'm in the process of converting a 70-qt cooler into a coolerdor. Just waiting on a few items at the moment, but when it is all done, I'll post a DIY with all the steps and pictures. It's not that hard, and if you live in hot weather, coolerdor is definitely the way to go!
You can actually find end-table humidors at a fairly cheap price. I just got one for $200 (after a little haggling with the store owner). Two trays for singles and space in the bottom enough for 6ish boxes. If you have a local cigar shop you frequent, make a note of the larger humidors that have been sitting around for a while. Most store owners will cut you a break on stock they can't get rid of.
There is a thin line between genius and insanity measured only by success.
thanks everyone, appreciate the responses. Im thinking once I save up a little money of rebuilding my book shelf into a large humidor. I'd rather show off cigars im going to smoke in the future then books ive read in the past =]
