Dodgers and Angels, Dodgers in 6. I'm a Rockies fan, but I think they'd be lucky to get past Philly. For all of you east coast guys that don't get to watch the Dodgers too often - fair warning - the Dodgers are a strong team. I don't see them getting beat by anyone. And the Yankers will lose (choke) to the Angels in 5. Would be nice to see a Yanks - Sox playoff, but I don't think either team will get that far.

I Dunno every time i think Yankees Dodgers 1977/1978 comes to mind. Best Yankee team i ever saw play the game
Sheepshead--loved those teams (especially the 1978 team that came back from, what, 13 games behind in July?; however, I would have to say the 1998 Yankees were the best team in my lifetime.

No doubt the 114-48 1998 team 22 games ahead of the second-place Boston Red Sox was the best Yankee team ever. But the most exciting come from behind teams both in the regular season and post season goes to the 1977/1978 teams IMHO.

good God I am pissed and disappointed in the Cards. How do you ask for 20 million a year with a straight face after dropping a fly ball to cost your team the season???
"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia

That would be a tough one for me to take if I were a Cardinals fan.

I was happy when the Rockies traded him to the A's. Great power at the plate, but he's a terrible outfielder, below average arm, and not a great presence in the club house. I must say, I REALLY enjoyed the 9th inning last night.
